This series stands out in every aspect-casting, production design, camera work, and direction. Every single actor delivered an exceptional performance. Elizabeth Moss as June and Yvonne Strahovski as Serena were especially phenomenal. Between the two, I found Yvonne's performance even more captivating-her subtle expressions are intriguingly complex and deeply affecting.
The use of camera angles and actor placement is masterfully precise.
The story itself is stifling-dark, bleak, and emotionally heavy. Yet, despite the despair it portrays, the series remains a work of creative brilliance, should be part of ciriculam in acting and filmmaking schools.
