Mia finds a dog in the rain one night so she takes to the shelter because she can't take him on. Max, the owner of the said rescue shelter rejects them. Because the world works in mysterious ways they meet again with their dogs who developed an instant attraction.
It's safe to say the dogs had more chemistry than the leads. Which is a shame. With a new face in Hallmark I was looking foward to this one but was disappointed. I'm not gonna judge Ezra because it's his first one, but maybe he should have started with a secondary role and the go from there. Like many leads nowadays did.
The plot of the movie is quite flat, maybe with other actors it could have worked. And it wasn't even necessary the Christmas factor. It could have been a summer movie.
I can't help but notice that this is the second actor to come back to Hallmark after the fail that is GAF. I just hope it ends there. And that's all I'm gonna comment about it.

Evil Lane was born on Christmas Eve in a diner while her mother was on the road. Now, being almost 35 to get access to her trust fund, her mother decides to test her by granting the 5 strangers who helped her a Christmas wish.
Kevin McGarry and Taylor Cole are both Hallmark stars and fan favorites and you can see why. The chemistry was great, yes, but they also charm the viewer on their own. You get to love every character they play and wish you can see them again soon.
The movie was beautiful. I was reminded why I love Christmas movies and enjoy Hallmark movies in general. I liked that even though there was a tiny secret thrown in the mix, no one made assumptions, no one was offended and no one heard conversations they weren't supposed to listen to.
Such a beautiful movie that one must definitely watch. I was reminded on how I felt when I first discovered a Hallmark movie: like nothing was wrong in the world and like I MUST visit a small town during Christmas time.

Asha is a nurse practitioner who one Christmas night encounters Jake, an old high school classmate. They hit it off immediately and go on an impromptu date that same night. Fast forward a year later, they get engaged and it's time to go back home and meet the inlaws.
I'm a bit biased because I love Benjamin Hollingsworth and I think he is a great leading man, full of carisma and charm. I've seen Anuja in the Resident and I think it's her first Hallmark movie. I thought the chemistry was there. I'm definitely not mad about the early kiss. It instantly breaks the formula we are all used to.
Yes, this movie is full of stereotypes. And you can imagine how this goes, Indian family on one side and Irish descendants on the other, everyone proud of their cultures. The problem is that the main characters get stuck in the middle and the relationship struggles because of that. The parents should know better.
This movie is quite fast paced, it has a big secondary cast, meddlesome parents, sweet scenes between Jake and Asha and unnecessary drama. If they do get married, I recommend they elope.
