I have read 'The Dry' and 'Force of Nature' and now have seen both movies.
I believe 'Force of Nature' is a stand alone movie. The negative reviews nearly put me off seeing this one. You don't need to understand anything about 'The Dry' to understand that Aaron Falk is part of the federal police.
It was clever when going back 30 odd years, that the quality of the film was grainy.
The cinematography is beautiful and whilst some of the writing is a bit clunky, overall it's a movie worth seeing on the big screen. I enjoyed the performances by Eric Bana and Anna Torv who always deliver.
It certainly makes you aware of how easily you can get lost in bush.

Ignore the negative reviews.
Yes Sydney Harbour is very deep but I suggest not nitpicking your way through this movie, just simply enjoy it for what it is.
Every movie doesn't need to tax your attention to detail.
It certainly showcases Sydney and the fact we can make a decent coffee in Australia! Some of the scenery is simply breathtaking.
I loved the beautiful setting of Palm Beach and some of the stunning dresses.
The koala is a highlight too. The Shakespearean references are also fun.
I've watched some dud romcoms over the years but will recommend this one to friends.
Go with the flow and relax and enjoy 'Anyone But You'.

I wouldn't normally bother to leave a review which is poor but this movie is truly a waste of time. I thought it would be light entertainment and being set in New Zealand I thought the scenery would be stunning. The scenery is good but the acting In this movie is seriously lacking. There is no chemistry between the two lead actors. The male lead does not act. Don't waste your time. There are plenty of good New Zealand movies.
