Finch (2021)
A failed attempt at yet another post apocalyptic road story
I did not have a lot of expectations from this movie, and even with that it never got me interested in the story for whole runtime. Main character finch acts like a deranged psycho all the time letting his aggression out on the innocent Robot, dog plays unknown role in this party and robot itself acts in between a newborn to teenager, not like self ware AI. There is no coherent character or story development that keeps you engaged, nothing really happening like it should in good roadtrip movie. It's a mystery to me what is the purpose of this movie as it fails to deliver all the possible ideas originally expected from such movies: fun, adrenaline packed, exciting post apocalyptic adventure.
Luther (2010)
I might have had too high expectations...
I wanted to watch Luther for a long time and seeing nice rating here on IMDB I finally watched it. From 21 episodes only handful are good, rest I was exclaiming in disbelief : "What???", "Seriously?", "Who wrote that absurd script". I couldn't really understand what is the ultimate goal of writers of this show, as they shuffle characters non-stop with no clear motivation or basic logic. The 6th sense of Luther cracking cases is laughable, bad parody of Sherlock Sir Holmes. Very very polar show with negatives far outweighing the positives. Can't really recommend until you miss police drama real bad.
The Orville (2017)
Exceeds expectations in every way!
I was really expecting light sitcom in space when starting Season 1, it turns out to be one of the best sci-fi shows available right now. Unlike other shows that become more boring with every season, Orville is actually getting better and better! Every episode is an interesting sci-fi story and makes you think a little! Great job Seth! Hope Hulu will budget next few seasons!
Chasing Monsters (2015)
So much better than River Monsters, Cyril is the best!
Don't mind other lower rating reviews here, Cyril is so much better host and definitely a better fisherman than River Monsters host. He is genuinely caring about fish and preservation of species. The fact that he kisses most of the the fish before letting it go tells a lot. To the person here in reviews who says "circle hook" is not designed to not harm the fish you are dead wrong pal, that's exactly what it's designed to do, do your homework!
Hanna (2011)
This is as average as it can get movie!
Great idea and plot, but horrible narrative and and finale. This is as average as it can get, no emotions, no awe, no nothing. What a waste of time! Luckily I watched on Hulu so no waste of money.
The Rookie (2018)
Awesome first two seasons and disaster in third!
Idea, plot, characters are very good. First two seasons absolutely amazing. I would agree with all recent comments about extreme (seriously just do it in one episode and be done) presence and "shoving" of "woke" culture into your throat in majority of third season. I'll give it another last chance after episode 8 and if they keep pushing, I'll just stop watching. That easy!
