Agreed. It's a bit different than the original Manga series but it is its own piece of art. The characters, environments, dialogues and the music are really well set and frigging entertaining.
I binged it and very much enjoyed the ride. Can't wait for season 2 and am hopeful that there are many more to come.

The acting is sometimes mediocre but the story is soooooo good. I got hooked immediately and couldn't stop. Give it a try.

First I was sceptical if I would like it but it's well made and reminds me so much of my childhood. Hoping for a season 2.
