I enjoyed the cameos. BEST? Part of the movie!
Some 4th wall breaking jokes are hit, most are miss.
Story... What story?
Action? Some great action sequences!
Cameos? Loved first time, will have some cheers 2nd time viewing.
It doesn't really have a lot (some would argue any) re-watch value. Cameos are great but the surprise and shock value obviously gets diminished after first time watching. Same goes for most of the jokes, specially those 4th wall breaking that can also be considered lame and annoying for some.
All in all, I give it 5/10 mostly because of the cameos, which is also probably it's weakest point since all of those still take a huge chunk of runtime just to be there pandering to nostalgia.

I haven't played the games and after few episodes, I started to wonder this looks somewhat similar to Silo (2023) TV Series and since the first game came out in 90s, did that show "borrow" ideas from the game but then reading some trivia, found out this show's story and plot is completely different than the games others than characters, setting and perhaps few references here and there.
Great series, enjoyed the characters and despite being very heavy emotional typical dark dystopian future for humanity it had it's moments of mild humor too.
One "secret" I really would like to find out is, HOW to stay and look in pristine condition while mostly walking around for miles in a wasteland filled with deserts and radiation affected plant life. Lucy, one of the lead female character, had ZERO marks anywhere on her face, her uniform always stayed in mint condition and even her hair were not only neatly tied up all the time but stayed shiny as if she just had her hair done by a professional. The ONLY little mark shown on her face was that minor cut on her lips that happened during one of the action sequences.
I would love to know the secret of staying like that, it must be some sort of magic in future, right? It simply can't be a "Hollywood" magic....

Where to begin? I guess right from the start when it felt like I am watching a compilations of some random amateur YouTube parody videos, and NOT even a good one. Too much forced comedy for the sack of comedy. It's like Mr. Taika really wanted to stay true to those three words, Marvel Comedic Universe. Unfortunately, that's what majority of MCU movies have been for many years.
I would like to think even kids are probably tired of forced lame cheap kiddy humor, like "story telling" and Zeus Court scene, but Box Office numbers tell a different story. Apparently kids, and probably their parents to some extent as well, are actually into this sort of cheap, lazy, lame and nonsense stuff. So, who am I to argue when they are making hundreds of millions, right?
Enjoy if this is your cup of tea but if you already had it enough with what Marvel has been offering for last few years, then give this one a miss and in reality you won't miss much at all.
The ONLY saving part of this otherwise crappy movie is Christian Bale's performance. Who probably just wanted to have his name on the list of Actors who worked in a Marvel movie, or maybe he was offered a ton of money to participate in this pile of crap. Bale, as usual, gives a great performance despite generic lame dialogues even for his character and tries his best to make sure audience get some of their money's worth.
