15 Cameras (2023)
Not a bad sequel
Aptly named 15 cameras as a third instalment to the previous two movies the first 13 cameras and the second 14 cameras. I find I'm at a loss for words as to why they gave him the name slumlord for this follow up movie instead of the name from the previous two movies. But anyways the plot was decent enough. But there's gaps in things like the hidden surveillance room he was in I could've sworn the first time he discovered it. It was on their side of the duplex and not the tenants side. I also don't get why they didn't cast the same guy that played the main character in 13 and 14 cameras either. But they did a decent job at casting a guy that looked similar enough that a lot of ppl might not question it. But I watch a lot of movies.
Natty Knocks (2023)
Flippity Flop Flop
I came across this whole looking for a movie to stream. While I am a big fan of Richer Englund bill Moseley and Danielle Harris. I was not a big fan of this movie. But not due to the lack of bad acting or actors or even the cinematography. But they the storyline of the movie itself. The beginning of the movie had nothing to do with the rest of the entire film. The second act of the movie had nothing to do with the end of the film either. And the third act of the movie spouted out a whole bunch of nonsense that made the movie make even less sense than the rest of it. But overall I've seen far worse movies.
The Flood (2023)
Alligator flop lol
Idk why lionsgate backed this movie because it sucks. The alligators it shoddy cgi. In addition to that their somehow invincible because they were shot by an assault rifle and it did nothing. Lame movie. There's not really even any one who is an A list actor or even a B lost actor. It leaves more questions than it does answers. Like how the alligator manage to get on top of the police station in order to drop down the chimneys sending them directly to the basement. Also also their portraying the video to be filmed in Louisiana but the movie was actually shot in Bangkok Thailand. Why did they do that for?
The Outwaters (2022)
Left scratching and shaking my head in disappointment
The outwaters is a stupid shoddy movie with no sense of direction or script. I watched it once and thought maybe I was just missing something so I attempted to watch it more thoroughly the second tonne. Only to realize the whole movie is the one missing everything even remotely interesting or horror about the movie other than it's a waste of and 1hr and 50 minutes. And watching it a second time through only infuriated me even more as it only raises more questions than it answers. I see the sci-fi effect of it in ways. But it still fails as a movie. I certainly won't be wasting my time trying to watch this movie a third time and wouldn't recommend anybody else for that matter to watch it even a first time through. The Blair witch project whilst being another found footage movie had a accept and dialogue than the outwaters. POO.
Mulan (2020)
Not better than the original
The cinematography of the movie is good for being a live action version of mulan. That being said there's tons of aspect ratios that are off in th majority of that battle scenes that are just terrible. The movie isn't captivating by any means. Disney movies are suppose to be tear jerkers and sadly this was not.
The Voices (2020)
Psychological thriller
Twisted sisters battling with mental disease and paranoia.. As another reviewer said it covered mental illness well.. Wasn't to suspenseful..though finding out mother is a wacko and does have the daughter a twist.. But the ending left me at a loss for words as it just abruptly ended leaving new asking wtf.
Dead by Dawn (2020)
Terribly choreographed
For a lower budgeted movie it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Half the time I'm left wondering what the heck is going on. And why they had the actors doing some of the things they were.
The Turning (2020)
Scratching my head
This left me with more questions than answers honestly. By the end i couldn't tell if the kids the nanny or the house was possessed or if nothing was possessed at and the nanny was just bonkers.
Ellipse (2019)
Wasn't the worst sci-fi film ice ever seen
I thought it was rather strange he was wearing a regular watch on one wrist and a smart watch on the other. There are thighs that could've certainly been different about this film for sure but I've seen say worse and a lot lower produced sci-fi films than this.
