I'll start by pointing out that in Mexico, we often settle for less, and unfortunately, this film doesn't escape that trend. Despite the praise it receives for being somewhat different from the typical trash cinema we're accustomed to, I can't overlook its shortcomings.
The direction lacks maturity, displaying a novice and pretentious approach. Although it tries to present itself as a psychological thriller, it ends up closer to a mediocre attempt at gore.
The screenplay is disappointing, with an exhaustingly repetitive nature that reflects a lack of creativity and depth in its construction.
The performances are noticeably weak, exposing the inexperience of the main cast.
Even the makeup, a crucial element to immerse oneself in the story, falls short and fails to support the cinematic illusion.

Ben Affleck's performance is terrible. I knew he's an awful actor, but this movie was another level. The script is terrible too, but, sadly it's not the worst part of the movie, it was the visual effects and the actual eagerness of Rodriguez to imitate Nolan's style.
I have to say that the trailer was a complete scam, but the worst part of all? I saw this movie without knowing that Robert Rodriguez is the director and that was completely my fault. That's why I feel angry of wasting my time and money watching this trash.
I already finished with this review, but I have to complete the character limit. Thanks for your attention.

This series has it all: post apocalyptic ambient, suspense, a bunch of violent action, great villain and great characters.
Don't mince words. Just action and a nice character development.
If this series had had a little more budget, it would have been a success, probably on the level of Squid Game. And that is, in fact, the only problem that this series has, the fact that it did not have a bigger budget and, at least for me, it left me wanting to see much more.
That's all I wanted to say, but I need to fill in the required number of characters before I can post this review. Just a few more characters and... done! Thank you.
