If I had to describe this movie in one word that would be: Colorful, joyful, warm, full of life (not one word exactly). I did not meet single person that hates this movie. You just have to love it. You have to love Amelie and her little quirky habits and everything about her. Audrey Tautou was just a perfect casting choice. She is Amelie without a moment of doubt. The rest of the cast is really great but she is divine. The story is simple and you can find yourself in it, but the way it's told makes it so special. Love and passion to make life better gives this movie a possibility to be watched over and over again as I did. If you feel down Amelie is always there to pick you up and help you cross the street.
To be honest, I'm a total Tolkien fan. Since forever. When I read Hobbit, I was in love. And it continued with more books. I adored the LOTR cartoon and was always sad it did not have the entire trilogy. But now it's here. The entire trilogy. The ending. And I'm thrilled. I loved first two parts, but the last film binds everything together. The basic difference from the other trilogies and what is usually the main problem is the fact that there is a literary original on which the story is based. Here the original is fabulous work of art so it helps a lot. Truth to be told, I always preferred Stryder to Aragorn, but
The Return of the King is not only a great story, but a great movie as well.
I always loved Batmen, especially for the fact that he is as human with no super power. The new Batmen movie really came as a improvement from Batmen and Robin. It's not so black and white anymore. The gray is getting stronger and Batman must rethink his basic beliefs because he faces total blackness Joker represents. On the other hand he wants to separate Bruce and Batmen. Bruce must decide to follow the code or do what has to be done without affecting his own morals. All things put together, I liked it. What I did not like is the excessive violence in the movie, especially the end is way to violent. And maybe I'm a bit under impression of his death but I believe this was Heath Ledger top performance.
