I don't like r4ceswaps either, but disregarding an entire show & everyone who worked on it over one thing is absolutely ridiculous. Also, bl4ck people exist, g4y people exist(referring to Niko & Lonnie Lincoln) also police racially profiling absolutely exists, so if you negatively rate this show or downvote this review based on just that you're either a bigot or an idiot.
This show is already miles better than Far From Home & shaping up to be better than Homecoming as well. This has so much stuff that any Spider-Man fan could want. The characters & intrigue have also been done very well. It's cool to just see Peter doing classic Spider-Man things with Peter Parker problems that those comics have always highlighted so well to make him relatable to people. The animation is a bit jarring but the action scenes & swinging scenes are amazing they're so dynamic with awesome camera movements, not to mention the comic panel editing & cool transitions. I get why they went with this style so they could have awesome fights & swing scenes within a reasonable budget, which the MCU Spider-Man movies do not have. HC & FFH are some of the most sauceless superhero movies ever & the action & overall visual style of this show is so much better. Also Peter is in New York doing Spider-Man stuff which is awesome & he does basically none of that in FFH.
It's pretty annoying how this show already has some low ratings & review binging by idiots because these shallow dumbos are rating it without even watching it & just basing it off the jarring animation style. It's pretty hilarious because people are so quick to criticize the look of animation but none of these people are actually smart enough to criticize live action stuff for bad cinematography, like most of the MCU has. Most of the MCU is bad visually, & if you think this is well then it fits perfectly in line with the MCU visually. But again none of these people are actually smart enough to tell good cinematography from bad because they're not actual film fans they just love theme park rides which the MCU is. They're so confident to talk about animation because it's easy to tell differences but when it comes to live action stuff they're none the wiser because they don't have an eye for artistry, they couldn't tell The Batman visuals apart from Avengers 1(which looks like a made for TV movie).
If this show was in crappy cinematography live action form all these smooth brains would be going bananas over it because this show gives you most of what you would want from a Spider-Man property.
People need to actually watch this show & pay attention to the nuances instead of only focusing on the animation & just rating it based off short clips they see on the internet. It's a very good show & its review bombing on here is very disappointing because you can tell people are judging it without watching it because they're just not smart & a lot of them think animation is for kids which is a whole other level of stupid. This show is on the same maturity level as the MCU Spider-Man movies as well as most of the MCU.
Watch this show & enjoy it because it is pretty sick.
