When I saw the score of 8.0 on IMDb I thought, wow! this movie has to be THE MOVIE, a great one but after watching it, I was completely wrong. My opinion is this movie has that score because nowadays everything related to gay issues and so on has more value than any other things. The movie itself is not a bad movie, don't get me wrong but for 8.0 is clearly overrated taking into account that the only special thing is that Simon is gay. I would recommend you to watch this movie like a random one not like a super movie because you can be clearly disappointed if you do so. That's my advice.

I have waited for more than an hour to see why this film has that rating and I don't really understand it. The movie is itself boring, sooooo boring and pretty slow. As I have seen in other review, the first and the only thing you would have to do is run and don't look back. I don't recommend under any circumstance to watching it and at least, for me, it such a waste of time. I don't want to bother to write more lines about this move. It doesn't make any sense.

I have just finished watching this movie and I'm completely freaking out! I think I will need several days to assimilate all what I watched on it. I don't know where I should start but the only word that comes to mind right now is wow! wow! wow! Story, characters, direction, the whole film is a f***ing masterpiece! Totally unexpected, everything will change in the story and you will hooked on it immediately. I have been watching a lot of movies lately and of course, I have never watched anything like this in my entire life. Regarding the acting I don't know who is the best one in the performance. Both, John Goodman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead are absolutely impressive so I will only do it... clap! clap! clap!

Nothing more to say... just run to the movies and watch it!
