F this show. And all these reviewers clamoring on like this is such a groundbreaking achievement. Its just ok and thats being generous. It started off very interesting and then goes off the rails with writing that thinks its waaaaay more clever than it is. Too many characters , and by that i mean versions of the same character. Asinine. This one girl is this womans mother AND daughter ? Go away. Everyone just shows up whenever and wherever but no one explains anything because 'theres no time!' Younger selves and older selves in same scenes but they apparently have no memory of this taking place in the older persons past. Silly. All the 10 star reviews calling every single episode the best hour of tv ever are like plants. No way possible this many people are creaming over such an average and extremely confusing show.

Season 1 was excellent. Tense and dramatic. Loved the cold antarctic setting. Very satisfying ending as well. But of course they couldnt leave it alone. They made a second season with a ridiculous implausible scenario which basically follows the first season almost identically but with different characters obviously. Now on the water. Equally isolated. The writing seems like it was done by the pre teen kids of the first seasons writers. Atrocious. And of course lets add a hulking simpleton who carries around a pet rat .. seriously. How about giving him the tilted head, hair in the eyes look as well? . Copy that. Only halfway through the season and im ready to bailout. Cant believe a third season just began.
