I liked this, only up to episode 3, my advice is watch it without commercials. Paramount has more commercials than they program itself. It's brutal. I purchased Paramount just to watch this program and as good as the show is, I don't think I can make it through to watch another episode on the platform because it's like hitting every red light on your way home from work.. I digress, the show is informative, and has some raw moments and great insight. There are awkward moments of a religious current running through the show. That's my hang up, I distrust anyone who makes declarative statements on how important religion is for family stability, and that theme repeats itself every episode so far. That is just a view and is not be indicative of whether the viewer will see it the same way. Definitely worth viewing...just not on the bargain package.
It's a solid show and HC's best next to Vikings. Sure the subject matter is crazy, but it is well written and extremely interesting. It really captures the Cold War era and the culture of America in the 1950's to a T. The episodes are fast paced and plot driven. The actors are great in their roles and take us along for the ride. Whether you believe in UFOs or not, that doesn't matter..as with most stories dealing with an X quotient the most dangerous and evil force in the these stories are the human species, whether they are Russian agents or our own government.
