I quite enjoyed "A Wednesday" despite some reservations about the police violence.
It was very interesting for me to see the English phrases and sentences mixed in with mostly Hindi dialog. Some of the English was fairly complicated (for example: "This will be the most important day of your life.") I know that India has an immense number of English speakers and users, but were most of the English parts understandable to most Hindi speakers? It sounds a bit silly to ask, but were any of them subtitled in the domestic version?
Since I have to have ten lines, I'll mention how hugely impressed I was with the actor who played The Common Man, whose name I can't see because I'm on this comment page. I saw that he played Captain Nemo in a movie, which he must have done with wonderful seriousness and intelligence.
