Friday Night Sext Scandal (2024)
Informative story bad ending
Shawn is a high school student who just made it on the football team where he become friends with his teammates that secretly post explicit photos of girls who attends their High School.
I think the story was going okay but I had a major issue with the ending and lack of accountability for the football players. It was so weird watching Lauren having sympathy for Shawn and not "ruining his life" by not making him accountable to the law. The movie ends with Shawn attending the same school as the other female students he and the other football players victimized. One more thing Shawn's mother was also horrible like a Ghislaine Maxwell.
A Widow Seduced (2024)
Stupid Writing
Kellie is a successful business woman who's husband has passed away a year ago and now is getting into online dating where she meets Dan. Kellie's brother is suspicious of Dan and looks into his past.
There are lots of bad writing in this movie that make the characters look really stupid. Kellie had sex with Dan and that made her immediately stupid to the things he does to her. If your boyfriend or girlfriend takes your smartphone and replace it with one he or she bought for you that's a huge red flag. If you are meeting someone for the first time maybe you shouldn't greet them with a knife in your hand.
Leopard Skin (2022)
Leopard Jett
From the makers of Jett brings you Leopard Skin a Murder Mystery Jewel Heist Romance Thriller starring Carla Gugino, Gaite Jansen, Amelia Eve and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
First of all the filming location is quite stunning and beautiful to look at. I like the cast of characters with each passing episode we learn more about who these people are. Leopard Skin is quite stylized with quirky dialogue. The ending of the show still have a few unanswered questions about the heist. Do I want a season 2 of Leopard Skin? NO! Jett has too big of a cliffhanger to be just left alone so here's hoping Jett will get a season 2.
CSI: Vegas: Koala (2022)
Started strong ended weak.
This episode started out very strong and disturbing in the old way that CSI would. I like how Catherine guide her team through this difficult crime scene especially with Penny. The problem with the episodes for me started with Catherine's daughter seems to be taking on the same storyline like Captain Jim Brass and his daughter. Catherine's daughter is not a hooker but she seems to be a cam girl/onlyfans model with a fractured relationship between her and Catherine. I just don't like that recycle storyline. The killers revealed and reasoning was pretty underwhelming. The way how Catherine dealt with the killer at the end was so unrealistic TV melodrama nonsense.
Paper Girls (2022)
Extra! Extra! Read all about it!
Overall I like Paper Girls the characters tend to come off hot and cold for me I just find them really annoying in how they treat their adult selves and the swearing is a little bit too much. My favorite moment of the show is between Mac and her brother. I really love their relationship and interactions. I think the show could have used some real life humor not necessary make it a comedy but have some lighter moments throughout the episodes instead of being so heavy all the time. As for the special effects I guess they can only do so much with the budget they have which wasn't that bad but the Ronald Reagan part really took me out of it.
The White Lotus (2021)
Cringe by Design
This show is about a group of people gone vacationing on an island and also the hotel employees who try to please their guests. The show basically starts with the ending of the vacation where one of the guests waits in the airport while a dead body is being loaded onto the airplane and then the show starts days before.
This type of dark situation comedy isn't my type of thing but the opening did got me hooked to see how they got to that place. There are lots of entertaining awkward cringey gross moments in the show with characters that I didn't really care for. It's not something that I would like to see a season 2 of. I mainly check it out for Alexandra Daddario and Sydney Sweeney.
Champagne Showgirls (2019)
Clean adult fun
A reality show about exotic dancers touring through Australia. The show doesn't have over exaggerated drama. It mainly focuses on the girls gearing up for their performances with little hiccups here and there with organizing their music and getting along with different personalities on the road. It runs for 13 episodes. TV MA for language and of course nudity.
Ms. Marvel (2022)
Ms Marvel is okay
I think Ms Marvel started out pretty good with introductions of family and friends. What hurt the show is episode 4,5, the bad guys and too little episodes for one season to fully flush out the characters and grow organically without rushing into the last episode to wrap things up.
The Outpost (2018)
Ended Strong
For me The Outpost is kind of like in the vein of Hercules and Xena fun action adventure. Season 3 for me was the best followed by season 4, 1 and then 2. Pretty good series overall.
Hugas (2022)
Not Bad.
Is this movie like an softcore American cable movie? Yes. But it puts a lot more effort into story and production value. The movie looks great and the actors chemistry was good.
The Sex Lives of College Girls (2021)
Four strong lead characters
Wow I didn't really expect to like this show as much as I do and I think it's because of the four engaging lead characters. Looking forward to season 2.
Veronica Mars: Years, Continents, Bloodshed (2019)
Why always the tragic hero?
I love Logan in this series because he came so far from where he was in the first season and he's gone now. I guess heroes can never be happy. And one more thing what about Dick? Dick Just lost his father and his best friend. Where is his story?
Naomi (2022)
Don't expect much.
Oh boy Naomi should have been on Nickelodeon. CW had Smallville and this is no Smallville or not even close to being at the level of Stargirl. They tried I guess.
The Endgame (2022)
The Long Game
This show plot is better serve as an two hour movie. I just couldn't keep track of what was going on in the show. There were two other Banks being held hostage in episode 9 that started in episode 1. What a mess. At least Morena Baccarin looks nice.
Kärlek & anarki (2020)
Love & Anarchy indeed
The funny thing about this show is as it goes on I like Sofie and Max less and I like the co-workers more. My favorites are Friedrich and Caroline. I rather watch the co-workers than Sofie and Max.
Black and White (1999)
Only for Gina and Nikki Fritz.
Gina Gershon and Nikki Fritz is the only reason why I put up with this poorly written movie. So this movie presented a way to know your partner on the first day of working together is by going to their home and asking them to strip naked with you??? I will leave you with that.
Outlander: To Ransom a Man's Soul (2015)
Just too much
I have enjoy most of the episodes of Outlander but however this episode just did way too much to make me not think about anything else other than seeing Jamie raped and tortured for the majority of the episode. It completely turned me off from anything else what was going on. I don't know if I can trust this show to never see anything like that again.
The Voyeurs (2021)
Rear view window voyeurs
Pretty simple premise of a couple move into an apartment building where they end up being curious about their neighbors activities which takes a dark turn.
The movie was pretty okay with unexpected twists and turns which keeps the movie interesting but however it does have some plot holes and that wouldn't happened in real life moments. Pippa played the very sexy Sydney Sweeney was a okay character but she did do some really stupid things at least she got her revenge at the end.
FBI: Most Wanted (2020)
New episodes same storylines.
The FBI hunts down an active killer only to find out that the suspect is after someone who did them something wrong. THAT'S ALMOST EVERY EPISODE FROM SEASON TO SEASON.
Support the Girls (2018)
Good actors boring story
Regina Hall was engaging but I couldn't get into this lackluster story. The brightest spot in the movie was the performance of Haley Lu Richardson. In this comedy drama Haley provide most of the comedy that was much needed for this dreary movie.
Physical (2021)
Not physical enough.
I really wanted to like this show but the storytelling didn't move smoothly from episode to episode for me. The aerobics was in the background of the whole season and the ending was so weirdly depressing. I'm not pumped to watch season 2 because this series is too much of a downer.
Naomi: Don't Believe Everything You Think (2022)
Okay start.
Naomi first episode starts out pretty safe. Naomi herself is a pretty likeable character but the show feels like it came from the early 2000s that needs a little bit more because there are lots of superhero shows around now. It does enough for me to check out the next episode.
Hit-Monkey (2021)
Hit-Monkey is a hit!
I expected Hit-Monkey to be a really violent revenge story and it is but it does have some good character growth and writing that makes you feel for the Monkey and Bryce.
Chucky (2021)
Chucky kills with some sense.
Chucky TV show is good if you like seeing Chucky manipulate and killing people. But the show has many many plot holes. Season 2 should just focus on Andy and Kyle hunting Good Guys Dolls from town to town.
Hollywood High (1976)
Dumb fun at Hollywood High.
This movie is so silly it feels improvise from scene to scene and the editing is confusing at times but I do like the four girls with their simple quest of finding a place so they can hook up with their boyfriends.
