I Used to Love Her(Original Version) Film Review Brandi Love
I "Used to love Her" is a breath of fresh air, set apart from the mindless, mundane movies I brace myself to watch. Simee (Toya Turner) has a detonative secret that just may ruin her life. Ramadan (Mel Roberson) thought he found the perfect woman until Simeon Henderson, really flexed his acting chops, and provided a dynamic supporting role as Terrence, Ramadan's strongly opinionated brother, who later learned valuable life lessons.Grown and Sexy music intertwined with "Garden of Eden" like scenery set the tone for romance throughout the movie. The clever use of subliminal messages of positivity and continuous humor birthed a masterpiece of our time! I give this movie 5❤❤❤❤❤ and an addition to my "Love List"

"Confused By Love" is a honest depiction of married life, written, directed, and produced by Crosby Tatum. Ferguson Middlebecker (Keith Mascoll) is a shy, sweet, conservative book writer waiting for a big break. Tiffany (Jamie Perez), Ferguson's wife, is the exact opposite. She is a high maintenance, spendthrift radio personality who wants everything her way. The drama unfolds when Ferguson's old friend Reggie (Simba Dibinga) and his girlfriend Jo Jo (Jordan Lloyd) show up unexpectedly and become houseguests. A cesspool of old feelings and hurtful truths emerge as the result of the uninvited guests abide. Keith Mascoll delivered a heartfelt, stand out performance that gave viewers meaningful enlightenment on the spirit of forgiveness. Jamie Perez was outstanding in her portrayal of a selfish , spoiled wife. Tiffany was so believable that I and several audience members agreed that we wanted to choke her throughout the duration of the film! You can go ahead and laugh now, it's safe. Impeccable cinematography (Navid John Namazi) and an amazing film score(Ron Love) enticed my senses and provided a memorable example of black love.
"Black Coffee" provided a distinction between the average "Boy meets Girl" love stories. An all- star cast graced the silver screen and held credence to the saying "When one door closes another one opens". Darrin Dewitt Henson (Robert) plays a man who has reached a crossroads when faced with several adversities in his life. Veteran actor Christian Keyes (whom I'm sure ladies wouldn't mind him pouring a cup of coffee), plays Julian, Robert's cousin who pushes the envelope for him to become a successful entrepreneur.
Brely Evans was delightful as , Nicole, Julian's regular customer and prospective love interest, Richard Gallion was charming and witty as Duke, the owner of the cozy neighborhood bookstore where Robert frequents. Gabrielle Dennis (Robert's love interest) and Lamman Rucker(Hillman) both have their destinies altered and find that "Black Love Matters". This movie has officially converted me from a "hopeless'' romantic into a "hopeful romantic"...or at least that's what my therapist said!
