I absolutely love the vibe of this show, and the previous 'Everybody's In L. A'. It doesn't seem like they missed a step, being off for so long while coming back with a great set of guests to speak on the subject of lending / borrowing money. Mulaney shows that he has a very quick comedic mind in the way he handles the callers to the show. I think my favorite thing about this show continues to be the chemistry between John Mulaney and Richard Kind who is absolutely hilarious on this show. I've never been able to figure out how much of his personality is real but it doesn't matter because he's so oddly charismatic.

I hope this show has many more seasons because I really can't get enough.

I don't know why Netflix chose to make this a 90 minute documentary. Netflix is the KING of stretching out a 60 minute story into a 6 part series and sucking the life out of it. Finally they have a masterpiece of source material in Tom O'Neil's book and Errol Morris is a master of documentaries and for some reason, they decide that they can cram a mind-blowing amount of information into 90 minutes? This is a good documentary but it will leave you wanting to know a lot more detail but for non-readers, they aren't going to want to delve into the book , even though it's really worth it. It just would have been nice to have so much more in this documentary.

Maybe I can't even be remotely impartial because I love everything about Distefano's comedy: his stories, his energy. And in this special, he even does a bit of crowd work. But what you really watch him for is the storytelling and he crushes it as always. And maybe even outdoes previous stories of his Dad coming to his high school with a great story about being taken to Yankee Stadium.

But don't waste your time reading my inane drivel. Just dial this special up and enjoy it. Besides, what better show is there to be watching right now? Another Marvel movie? Just watch this special and enjoy it.
