Silsila (1981)
Very sensitive, romantic film with melodious songs - but 3 hours is too long!
Silsila is a sensitively-made & family-oriented film based on a bold theme of extra-marital relationship - but with twists and surprises (which I've no interest in revealing)!
Even though it did not do well at the Box-office in 1981 we must thank Yash Chopra for a thoughtfully presented film on a sensitive matter. He is a master in making visually-appealing romantic films with lovely locations like the colourful, awe-inspiring Tulip garden in Netherlands for the song Dekha Ek Khwab. Wow! How can we forget that?
We must also thank the Music Directors, Hariprasad Chaurasia and Shivkumar Sharma, & Lyricts, Javed Akhtar, Rajendra Krishnan & Harivansh Rai Bachchan for such soulful, memorable music and songs - which still gives goosebumps while listening. And how can we forget Raang Barsae - the Holi anthem so popular all over Bharat!
NOTE: There was a special appearance by the Music Directors for a few seconds, in an Airport Terminal, nearly 21 minutes into the film. They were in the background talking to each other wearing their traditional dress with Amit ji and Jaya ji in the foreground. Wonder how many have noticed that. I must say I've very, very sharp Eyes since I've not seen their photos anywhere for years! LOL!
But I've a few complaints:
1 - The film is unnecessarily long! 3 hours is too much! It should have been complete in 2 hrs 30 minutes or so. Indian film-makers have the habit of making such unnecessarily lengthy films.
2 - The relationship between Amit-Chandi is not properly portrayed. It's shown in a superficial, "bits and pieces" manner.
Finally, many people are criticising the Climax! They think it's too dramatic and makes things very easy for the Characters! That's true.
But I've a different perception: Sometimes unforeseen "shocks" in life changes our minds for the better. We become more thoughtful, practical and understanding. It liberates us from the slavery of our deep-rooted emotions, fixations & expectations (which are the causes of many miseries/tension in relationships)!
Yes, sometimes we Humans do need some "shocks" in our lives to force us to see things from a better perspective and for the good of others as well.
Please do watch Silsila for its sensitivity, artistry, melodious music and the Climax (which I am sure you will appreciate after reading what I said above).
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024)
SIFRA is an excuse for typical Bollywood Nautanki! Very shallow film!
The film (based on a fascinating Sci-fi idea) is very casually & superficially presented by new directors, Amit Joshi & Aradhana Sah.
That Kirti Shanon (SIFRA) is a robot in complete human form is very, very casually presented! There is NO surprise...NO suspense...NO thrill, at all! Absolutely stupid! Completely boring!
More shocking is that SIFRA and Aryan (Shahid Kapoor) had SAMBHOG! But Aryan had no idea that she was a Robot! Can you believe that?
This is an INSULT TO OUR INTELLIGENCE!
More INSULT follows when Aryan wants to marry SIFRA, a Robot! Shocking! And how can Aryan, a Robotic Engineering, simply did not care about all the practical dangers of such a Marriage? How? Even one of his Engineer friends is also ok with this bizarre marriage! They all were behaving like kids!
For me all this in keeping with typical Indian filmy nautanki! What else? Indian film-makers are incapable of making a convincing, thrilling, non-Nautnaki Sci-fi film! They will introduce unnecessary romance/drama into everything.
The display of Emotions and also bit of Comedy here and there looks totally superficial. They hardly appeal to your deeper senses.
The ending was also abrupt and casual!
It showed SIFRA 2 which is now reformatted and her face reconstructed (because of the injury on her face). She no longer recognises Shahid. And then suddenly Jhanvi Kapoor appears as an intern in the Robotics company and started talking to Shahid. Seeing this, Ashish Verma (Monty), Aryans' colleague childishly said SIFRA 2 is feeling jealous watching Shahid talking to Jhanvi.
Jealous??? Impossible! Because she is reformatted!
The film ends with "To be continued..." message! I wonder if Jhanvi Kapoor herself is another Robot! Let's see! LOL!
Missing (2018)
Missing IS a unique psychological-thriller - but wrongly criticised!
Missing is a unique psychological-thriller that will grip your attention till the end!
Critics who've criticised it are Jokers who have, most probably, compared it with Chritopher Nolan's films. What most Critics and Viewers don't know is that one should appreciate a film on its own merit; instead of comparing it with something else or expecting some mind-boggling "thrills & sensations"! Btw, films are NOT made for these Critics, at all! LOL! They are made for the general audience.
Missing is the directorial debut of Mukul Abhyankar! And it's a very decently made film, without necessarily being great! In fact, for a film to be worth-watching, does not mean it has to be GREAT!
If you've a sharp mind you can detect, in the middle of the movie, the mystery behind the "missing" thing! Don't expect me to reveal things here!

Ae Watan Mere Watan (2024)
Never knew about freedom-fighter Usha Mehta! Thanks Darab Farooqui & Kannan Iyer for opening my Eyes!
My heartfelt Naman to Late Usha Mehta for showing intense Dynamism, Cleverness, Passion and Will-Power to challenge the Britishers! It is these counter-attacks on the British by many patriotic Indians which ultimately led to their exiting from Bharat!
Ae Watan Mere Watan is a very sincerely made biopic on the life of the great freedom-fighter, Usha Mehta! Her secret Congress Radio mission was "street smartness" at its best! It made the British police officers lose their peace of mind!
The story-telling was tight and to-the-point. No digressions. No unnecessary sub-plots. The recreation of the environment of 1942 looks very, very realistic!
When you watch a film, you should judge it based on whether the Director was true to the main story or not; instead of, expecting typical "thrills and nautankis" associated with commercial films!
Darab Farooqui & Kannan Iyer, thanks a lot for bringing to life the inspiring story of Usha Mehta, and about whom I'd not read about before.
Sara Ali Khan as Usha Mehta is an average actress. Sounds stiff in her dialogue delivery! I suspect, Alia Bhat, would've been a better choice. What say, you guys?
PS: Usha Mehta has a great lineage in director Ketan Mehta, one of her Nephews, who'd directed a biopic on the great Sardar Patel, in 1993.
Rahasya (2015)
One of the best Crime-thriller! Keeps you in suspense till the end!
Rahaysa is a RARE crime thriller which keeps you in suspense till the very end!
The story follows the familiar pattern of creating many murder suspects but slowly excluding them one-by-one and then zoom in on the real culprit whom ON ONE suspected and who seemed very innocent.
The whole story was tightly and captivatingly presented - without any unnecessary sub-plots or Nautankis or even songs!
But I've NO interest in revealing anything, at all!
Loved the acting of KK Menon, which is of the same minimalist kind as that of Irfan Khan. But it was Ashwini Kalsekar's acting which attracted me a lot! She portrayed her character with great intensity and precision. The fear, nervousness and tension in her Face was very, very palpable.
But the background music was a let down! It was ordinary, soft and projected with low volume.
Very sadly, very few people may've seen this film! Same is the case with another thriller, 404: Error not found.
Anand (1971)
Anand died but Anand (Joy) never dies!
If you want to see thoughtful films made in the late 1960s onwards then you must watch all the films made by the following:
Hrishikesh Mukherjee (Anand),
Basu Bhattacharya (Anubhav, Avhiskaar, Griha Pravesh) and Shakti Samanta (Amar Prem, Aradhana).
That is precisely what I did while watching Anand!
Loved the theme of the film which is about a cancer patient wanting to live life to the fullest before he passes away! Anyone with a similar health condition should watch this film.
The songs were very, very melodious, meaningful and soulful (as was very common in the Golden era between 1950 & 1990)! Btw, such songs are made only in Bharat (or in the Indian subcontinent). Nowhere else in the world are such songs made (may be in few numbers).
And to really appreciate such films like Anand you need to get into the soul of the characters while watching; instead of watching it just for casual entertainment.
The film ends with this solemn message: Anand died but Anand never dies!
How true!
Amar Prem (1972)
A very poignant, thoughtful film on relationships, frailties & compassion! A Masterpiece!
In the 1970s only 3 directors were very popular in making thoughtful films: Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Basu Bhattacharya and Shakti Samanta (Amar Prem).
Today (29/12/23) on the birthday of Late Rajesh Khanna I watched Amar Prem for the first time!
It's a masterpiece when it comes to depiction of human relationships, frailities & compassion! What I really liked that it presented the Tawaif in a very decent way. Even she is a human with her own needs, likes, longings and need for appreciation and compassion.
Songs are very meaningful and soulful - which were so common in that Golden era of Indian film music.
Picturisation of songs in that era was usually simple and focused - which held our attention till the very end.
Neeyat (2023)
Complete BAKWASS! Director (Anu Menon) made this film for her own Entertainment!
The presentation looks ridiculously laid-back!
No edge-of-the-seat suspense!
No build-up of tension!
All the characters look Casual and like Caricatures!
Vidya Balan's character as a fake investigator is unconvincingly presented. She is shown doing implausible things and so easily (knowing everything about others, hacking into the computers of lots of people & reading call records) and so casually that it does not make us connect to her character. Her character is also a caricature!
In the end, what was the need to show the casual meeting btwn. The real and fake investigator - and that too after the Credits - where the Real one appreciates the acting done by the Fake one? What was the need to show this? Ridiculous!
I am reminded of another boring detective thriller is, Silence! Can you hear it? (Manoj Bajpai). This one looked like an episode of CID. LOL!
Dream Girl 2 (2023)
Forced, Superficial and Timepass Comedy! Nothing new!
I'd have loved Dreamgirl 2 had it been different from Dreamgirl1. But the former gives the same kind of feeling as the latter.
The narrative goes haywire and ends up as just a mishmash of situations, too much of Nautanki and too many characters pursuing each other. There are also many unnecessary Comedy pieces!
Comedy that is well-presented - but not FORCED - & makes you laugh naturally requires special Comedy Intelligence - which, unfortunately, very few people in the world have. That is why such Comedy films are very, very RARE!
How many good comedy films can you think of in the last 40 years?
U Turn (2023)
Well-made Suspense Thriller - without any songs (thankfully)!
The Screenplay of this Suspense Thriller is Taut and the pacing of the Narration is concise - which will hold your attention till the end. The revealing of the secrets behind the main plot is done smoothly and appealingly!
Loved the Background Music which enhances the Suspense and Thrill in every scene!
No unnecessary sub-plots!
No unnecessary songs (sung by actors, that is)!
No boring moments!
Those here criticising the Maa-Beti Sex talk as against so-called Indian Culture are Sexually Repressed, Prudish hypocrites!
PS: This is not a Supernatural Thriller (as mentioned in Wiki)! But there are some "Ghosts" though! Go and see for yourself! LOL!
Runway 34 (2022)
Lovely combo of Thrill in the Air + Court room drama
I really like films based of real incidents. This is one of them.
This is first of its kind THRILL IN THE AIR + COURT ROOM drama film.
Did the pilot (Ajay Devgan) risk the lives of Passengers by landing the Airplane on the wrong Airport, with low visibility due to a Storm?
The answer to this is not in Black and White! It has shades of Grey which was revealed in the Court room?
There are couple of Moral lessons in the film:
1. Admit one's mistake, learn from it & don't repeat it!
2. Never interpret things in Black-or-White! There are shades of Grey which you've to understand! If you don't do that you will commit the folly of exaggerating/misunderstanding someone's acts of Omissions and Commissions.
The Court & Investigator (Amitabh Bachchan) went by the 2nd Moral Lesson.
But the length of the film is too long (2:28 hrs)! It could've been made in 2 hours without diluting the story.
Ajay Devgan should make these kinds of realistic films, instead of that stupid, Shivaay, which also was TOO long!
Maja Ma (2022)
This film is very Simple, Slow & Stupid!
This film is very Simple & Slow - and lacking in overall Intensity (except in couple of Scenes)! Not impressed at all!
The most STUPID thing in the film is the arbitrary Lie Detector test that Pallavi (Madhuri Dixit) was pressured by the family of her Son's Lover to undergo, to prove she was NOT a Lesbian! What a ridiculous idea by the film-makers!
In case you didn't know, Lie Detector test results are NOT considered genuine Proof for anything, even in Courts! Using it for any out-of-court "confirmation" of anything is a Sick Joke!
This Test is nothing but irritating Nautanki!
And after taking this Test, Pallavi, while talking to her Son, says, "Had they asked me if I'd loved a woman, I'd have happily failed the Test. I am thinking...if I've given all my love to my family, then one day my Lie would've easily become the Truth."
This "Lie becoming Truth" does not make any sense at all! What "lie"? Is it that she is not a Lesbian? And how come this will become the Truth since she has given all her love to her family?
What she said to her son simply does not make any sense? Sounds totally illogical!
Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana (2017)
Unique story with "surprises" - but with a melodramatic climax!
I really love films which are "different" but entertaining, which are "quirky" but based on Reality.
Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is one of them!
For a first time Director, Ratnaa Sinha, this film is certainly a bold move. Thanks to her and specially the Writer, Kamal Pandey, for creating this wonderfully different film.
This film combines the concept of "female empowerment" with the "revenge" of the Male Ego! It's ok to achieve equality with Men, but hurting someone's Ego or Emotions is wrong!
The film is based on a few "Surprises" which forms the foundation of the film! But I didn't like the "surprise" at the end. It's very Nautanki & Melodramatic (typical Indian filmy isshtyle)!
I really loved the acting skills of the new Actress Kirti Kharbanda (her 2nd Hindi film). She's a multi-faceted actress displaying wide range of Emotions, wonderfully. Strangely, this is something NO ONE here has emphasised, because that is the first thing that came to my mind after watching the film. Kirti acted really, really well!
Rajkumar Rao acting is good, but he talks a bit too fast. He should slow down a bit, to have the right impact.
Silence... Can You Hear It? (2021)
Boring! Felt like a Detective TV serial!
There is nothing in the film that is Thrilling!
It felt like a slow Detective TV serial! And the actual Murderer was revealed in the last 8 minutes or so based on a very minor thing that the Detective remembered.
Now have a look at the Title - "Silence.... Can you Hear it?".
Silence for what? And hear WHAT , Mr. Director? There is NOTHING in the content to justify this funny and stupid Title!
But I certainly did hear the repeated use of Abusive words in the dialogues! Is that what you wanted us to Hear, Mr. Director? Can't you make a film without using the "F" abusive word repeatedly? Why do you've to copy everything the White people do just to look smart?
Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2003)
Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi DID NOT impress me for few reasons!
1 - Why make a Hindi film in English? 90% of the dialogues are in English (containing the crude word "F@@@" a few times)? What for? To impress the Goras? And win some nominations in film festivals in Western nations?
Another sign of our Inferiority Complex! What else?
When most Indians are brought up to look upon the Goras as Superior people, what else can you expect? After all we desperately need their Validation and Certificate for our own Self-Esteem/Importance. Isn't? What better way than to ingratiate ourselves to the White people than to make desi films in English!
Those English dialogues (in completely desi settings) were a complete PUT OFF!
2 - There is NO depth in the characters and situations created! It's a mix of different sub-plots related to Naxalism and the personal lives of the characters.
There is a diff. Btwn. A film with depth of characters & situations (which will surely touch your mind and heart...and may need more time) and a film where things are presented within a short time of 1:45 hrs.
3 - At 31:20 (in PrimeVideo), when Vickram (Shiney Ahuja) goes to buy a Royal land, while bargaining , one of the former Royal's aid says "50 lakhs" and then Vickram says the following, "not more than 30....good deal at 3.....worth 3 crores only...". This is totally careless dialogue-writing. Jumping from 30 to 3 and not even mentioning if it's in Lakhs or Crores (which is stated only at the end).
At 1:04:20, Randhir Singh (Yashpal Sharma) says we need to awaken ones "conscious". It should actually be "conscience".
At 1:22:20, why did Geeta say, "I just wanted to Thank you.." to Vickram? They are meeting after a long time and then suddenly, "thank you"?!! Thank him for what?
But she did not thank Arun (Ram Kapoor) her former husband who released her from Jail. And who requested Arun to do that, NO ONE knows! How strange!
Joker (2019)
Joker is a Serious-Dark movie - not a Comedy!
Joaquin Phoenix, who plays the role of a Psycho Comedian, has acted with great conviction! The movie was made with utmost sincerity, without any "melodramas"!
But this movie has NO "usual entertainment value"! Therefore, most people will not see it; although, I know there is a audience for such movies too.
It is a "dark" film made with the exclusive intention of winning Awards in film festivals!
I was certainly put off my the Gory scenes of Murders in the film! Why do film-makers show such scenes when you can easily show them in a simple way - but with the same impact on our minds?
Gully Boy (2019)
A sincere and convincing film by Zoya Akhtar & Reema Kagti!
Gully boy is a realistically-presented film with characters you can relate to and connect with. It reintroduced Rap singing in Hindi cinema, which had gone out-of-vogue long time back.
The film's basic storyline of a poor fellow going on to achieve something BIG because of his PASSION, is absolutely real. There are many examples in the world to prove that.
Loved the songs, "Apna Time Aayega" & "Mere Gully Mein"!
Ranveer Singh as Murad, maintained his slum boy image throughout the film, without being "show offish" in any way. Alia Bhat as Safeena is a frank, assertive and "muh-phat" girlfriend of Murad; but she is emotional too. Siddhant Chaturvedi's portrayal of rap artist MC Sher (and guru to Murad), as well as, his very convincing Mumbaiya Hindi accent and style is worth watching a few times.
Badla (2019)
Amitabh Bachchan is the "mask" which exposes the Killer!
Badla is one-of-a-kind murder-mystery!
A movie that will make you sit transfixed for 2 hours!
Every dialog spoken is very, very important. You've to be very attentive; else you will miss out on some important detail. There are NO casual moments in the film at all!
But this film is supposed to be a scene-by-scene official remake of the original Spanish film, The Invisible Guest (2017). Not sure if "official" means the director Sujoy Ghose has bought the rights to make Badla, from the makers of the Spanish film!
In the film, the Killer is exposed by Lawyer, Badal Gupt (Amitabh Bachchan), in the most unimaginable manner possible! He actually is a "mask", not a real character.
Sounds intriguing, isn't?
Want to know more? Just watch the film!
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi (2019)
Thrilling patriotic film - but with too much gory Violence!
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi will raise your patriotic feelings and expand your chest to 56 inches or even more.
Kangana breathes Fire & Fury in her role as the iconic Rani of Jhansi! That she herself has directed the film (although not necessarily fully) puts her in a different league - with other actresses "looking up at her with awe"! LOL!
Story is not 100% true! Some portions might be fictional!
I'd have preferred a realistic presentation - without too much Glamour and Melodrama. Like in those dumb & glamorous TV serials...in this film too, ladies are wearing Make-ups at all times. Ridiculous!
Special effects are NOT that realistic, esp. the Cannon Balls banging on the walls of the Fort. It clearly looks artificial! Even the long trail of fire on the ground during the War looks artificial and the soldiers are clearly shown stepping on it. LOL!
Cinematography gives us a colourful canvas of visual splendour. The sets are Majestic and 100% Royal!
The acting of the English actors is poor! It looks very "stagey" and the dialogs contrived!
Finally, there is TOO much of Violence and explicit scenes of bodily injuries! Strange that no one is objecting to that! After all, this wonderful movie is for everyone. Therefore, such gory show of bodily harm should have been avoided altogether.
Why the hell is it ok to show explicit violence, but not Nudity and explicit Sex? Even if the latter is shown, the films gets "A". The same standard should be applicable to explicit Violence!
Raazi (2018)
Raazi - first Indian film with female lead to earn 100 crore & more!
Raazi is one-of-a-kind spy thriller! What is more surprising is that it is based on a true story (although in a dramatized form)! This true story itself is something that, I am sure, NO ONE could ever imagine in their wildest dreams!
But here's something that I am sure you will agree with!
Probably, we all would've enjoyed the movie more had we not been aware of the true story, beforehand! The Trailers and Reviews acted as complete spoilsports!
There are 3 main highlights of the film:
1. The story itself which is thriller - with a surprise event towards the end
2. Alia Bhat's acting - which was both, moving & convincing
3. The normal treatment of Pakistani characters (a first-of-its-kind in Hindi cinema)
Is this film worth seeing even a second time? Yes, it is!
Maatr (2017)
A very poor copy of the Original film!
Maatr is a poor and infantile copy of the korean film, Don't cry mommy!
It lacks almost in every department: Story-telling, Direction, Acting and Presentation.
The way Raveena seeks revenge for her own and her daughter's rape is totally implausible and far-fetched (in fact, laughable)! There is NO sincerity and intensity in her acting.
What the director lacked in presentation, he "made it up" with some gory scenes of violence!
It was bad judgement on the part of Raveena to do this film or probably she did not know the quality of the director.
After the film ended there was a Stupid message by the Producers about his "inspiration" being his mother. In what bloody context was this message shown? Am I supposed to burst into tears? ROFL!
Padmaavat (2018)
Padmavat is a stylish - but an Average film! You will see more of Khilji than Padmavati.
Padmavat is an ordinary film made in a stylish and opulent manner!
The film is more about Khilji than about Padmavati; therefore, you will see much more of Ranveer Singh than Deepika who have very little screen space. There are some stupid melodramas, for ex. Padmavati mistakenly shooting an arrow at Ratan Singh and he falls in love with her with an arrow stuck in his chest or the ridiculous way an injured Khilji kills his nephew who had shot him with arrows.
The story is a simple and straightforward - Khilji wants to see Padmavati but Maharawal Ratan singh does not like the idea. Khilji through treachery kidnaps Ratan so as to force Padmavati to come to him.
The film is an adaptation of the epic poem Padmavat written by Sufi poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi in 1540. But the film has taken many artistic liberties; therefore, has shown things which never existed in the poem. For ex., Padmavati never travelled to Delhi in order to rescue Ratan Singh. In Padmavat, it is only Ratan Singh's faithful servants, Gora and Badal who traveled to Delhi along with their followers to save Ratan Singh.
All Sanjay Leela Bansali films are visual masterpieces, so is Padmavat. The Ghoomar dance is well-presented. But Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela seems likes a classic in comparison to Padmavati.
No Good Deed (2014)
Edge-of-the-seat suspense crime thriller!
No Good Deed is an edge-of-the-seat suspense crime thriller! You will not be able to get up when you are watching this movie (although to be frank, there is nothing NEW in the story)!
NOTE: Don't believe some stupid people who think the movie is Boring!
The director, Sam Miller, has done a mature job of maintaining the aura of suspense in each and every scene.
The Background Music and the slow Pace of the film, all contribute to transfixing the minds of the audience to the screen. In fact, I prefer this more than any noisy, rapidly-edited & fast-faced suspense movies.
The Screenplay is Tight and Crispy!
The Acting is very, very decent. But Idris Elba looks slightly friendly to be a heartless killer. Perhaps a beard, Hoodie and a wicked gaze would have done the trick.
I won't say anything more for fear of giving away details of the movie (esp. a small twist towards the end). Just watch this Short, Simple and Suspense-ridden film in any movie channel of your choice.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017)
Jumanji 2 is only for Youngsters!
This film combines Adventure with Comedy - but overall it is a completely Average film (nothing to rave about)!
It will be of interest only for Teenagers and people in their 20s. The comedy is slapsticky and ordinary - which is usually the case in all Action/Adventure because the makers of such films usually do not have the mature "comedy sense" as can be seen in films like Mrs Doubtfire & Parental Trap.
But Karen Gillan as Ruby Roundhouse was NOT convincing at all! She just was not properly trained for the fight scenes. Her so-called "dance fighting" just falls flat! It should have been more realistic!
War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)
Where is the promised WAR? Why is the movie so slow?
If you've not seen War of the Planet of Apes, here's a Warning: THERE IS NO WAR IN THE MOVIE AT ALL!
What exist are just skirmishes between humans and the imprisoned apes who were trying to escape.
In fact, it is a FLOP movie! Only 15 people were watching the show.
The first 75% of the movie is very, very slow and the movie is 30 minutes too long (actual length is 2hr 20 mins). This is because the story-writer hopelessly failed to think of ways to add Thrill and a real War – but, instead, made the plot move at a snails' pace just to elongate the movie time.
In fact, this film could easily have finished in 1 hr and 30 minutes. Not a second more.
The movie ends in an "unconvincing" manner: One military faction is eliminated by another military group. And this group is eliminated by a roaring Avalanche. This helps the apes to escape to the dessert they were planning to relocate on.
NOTE: The Avalanche was created because the story-writer could not think of a way for the apes to attack and defeat the military faction. How Convenient! LOL!
The only great thing about this movie is the CGI which makes the apes look 100% realistic. The Avalanche too looks realistic. The visuals and cinematography is great.
WPA is an extremely "unconvincing" end to a trilogy whose first 2 episodes are just Moving & Thrilling – which touched your heart and mind. They made you feel for each of the characters.
I feel like giving TIGHT SLAPS across the faces of Writers Matt Reeves and Mark Bomback, just as I felt like giving the same to Roland Emmerich for Independence Day 2.
