Great Show~ Series
I can't understand why the show received low scores. It perfectly captures the essence of first loves. Maybe I'm just old and remember what it was like when I met my first love. The butterflies, the open heart, the broken heart, the trust, the "I love you," the "I hate you" - these two portrayed these emotions fantastically. If you were pulled into the moment and remembered your past, then they did their job. I think young people going through tough times with their first love need to see and watch this show because they are not alone. It also shows that all families have their ups and downs. No one is perfect in any world. Maybe you need to go back and rewatch. And to the critics, well. I rest my case.

FINALLY
Finally, a show about love, hurt, marriage, divorce...etc with a great story. You don't have to watch shooting and violence to be intertwined. The low ratings are more than likely the sad souls that couldn't connect to such a great series. The fashion might I say as well was totally in point! The scenery is so beautiful. And love was shown in so many aspects of life. If you love "LOVE" do yourself a favor and watch this delicious series. The scene of the mom and dad talking to their daughter was heart-stopping. More parents should take notice and grow healthier children adults. I pray there will be a series 2. Actors so handsome. Actresses so beautiful. Well done!
Funny Woman (2022)
YUM - Pure - YUM
I would give this series 20 stars if I could. The music, storyline, actors, and writing of this show are incredibly refreshing. In today's media landscape filled with sad and death-themed movies and shows, "Funny Woman" starring Gemma stands out. She truly hit it out of the ballpark with her performance. From the moment she walked in to audition for the role, you will be captivated. If you grew up in the 1960s, this show is a must-watch. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment from season 1 to the fantastic finale. The delightful storyline, strong performances by the actors, impressive cinematography, and emotional impact at the end, aaaaa ooo laaaa laaaa!
Hotel Portofino (2022)
What a gem.
Pure delicious. Love. Broken hearts. Storylines during the 1920s took you right to that era. The actors, the scenery, the stories, the costumes of the actors are just spit on. Please Season 3. You want to be on this island, swimming in this water, eating the foods Bettye prepares for the guests. I do wish they continued this series. If you love period dramas "oh my goodness" look no further. Love Love Love all aspects of every episode. I didn't even read the critics' review of this series I'm sure they picked it to pieces. Don't listen to the negative. Binge binge-watched both seasons. And now watching again! It's that good!
Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022)
WHY ??? RUIN A GOOD THING
Bad. And now >badder< 😦 I know, not a word. You had a great thing. Now and slowly you are going so wrong. No. Wait your going so wrong, fast! Like Bombing out. BOOM! Dominic West is so wrong in so many ways. He bombed in The Crown! Why in the world cart him in another period drama? The more you try to add another series another movie to this wonderful show that America and the world loved. The more everyone is saying "Not working for me". So please stop while you ahead. Don't believe me, ask DA lovers. So disappointed is an understatement. Julian Fellows knows it's just not working no matter how you cut it.
A Christmas Love Story (2019)
Perfect in every way. Gotcha! Great
Not a normal Hallmark Movie, you usually see the same group of actors and if you seen one you gsvevseen them all with Hallmark. "Blazaa" There are many words to describe a movie. This one was brilliant! New and refreshing great acting Scott Wolf, Kristen Chenoweth, and Kevin Quinn. I am so glad I found this jewel. A 10 from beginning to end. This movie will stay in my mind for a long time. I cried so hard at the end. A very good cry. The duo at the end, between Kristen and Kevin. Oh, my heart. Michael Baiardi that song is amazing. The downside to this review. The single is nowhere to be found - not even in the soundtrack. Now that's very sad. The song needs the two of them.
Suburban Nightmare: Chris Watts (2022)
IT WAS IN HOS EYES ALL ALONG
There are no words to describe the horror of this show. It makes me just sick to think he will have a pen, paper, tv, and education and the list doesn't stop with what will be afforded to him in prison. Evil in it's pyrest form.
Persuasion (2022)
No. No. No. Jane would be sad.
If you want to be talked to thru a movie this is your perfect cup of tea. If you enjoyed Jane Austen's books and previous film versions of Persuasion do not even watch. I am so disappointed. I have been waiting, waiting, and so excited for this new edition to come out on Netflix. I realize they had to try and put it more into modern times, but this is just a total fail! Rupert and Sally played this so so well. If you are there in the movie glued to the tv they did their job. They did. This version DID NOT! No. No. No.
The Package (2020)
SO CUTE
Short, oh so cute, and to the point. 14 minutes of pure delight. Cody Ryan what an adorable cheeky little sugarmonkey you are! Heather, you hit it spot on, rent, wreck, icy britches. Just great you two.
Gladbeck: The Hostage Crisis (2022)
Because we watched crime shows on tv.
They did this because they saw a crime show on tv and wanted to do it. Bizarre. If our demands are not meet. Bang Bang. Here again in this show it wasn't the guns it was the mental health of the hostage takers and watching crimes shows on tv. Mimicking the shows. This show is beyond comprehension. And in 1988.
Normal People (2020)
An Amazing Series
DO NOT pay attention to the bad reviews. This series has "us" the viewer in it at some point. The acting is just phenomenal. They played their part spot on. Cornell and Marianne. Sweet lost souls that found other. From don't tell anyone at (high school) school to his breakdown at college. I didn't want to stop watching from S1S1. Lord, I can only imagine some viewers watching this. (them eyes were rollin I am sure) Hint. Hint. The bad reviews are from the sex scenes, although parent alert this happens in real life. I can't say enough good things about this series. Spoiler alert I'm a granny, mother, and wife at 68 years old, and truly was engulfed with these kiddos.
Pieces of Her (2022)

Generously put stayed up to binge and for what? What a horrible ending in my opinion. So many loose ends in this montage of a thriller suspense drama. It could have been awesome. I'm so torked! You guys can do better than this. Seriously.
The Lost Daughter (2021)

I gave this a 5, only because there might have been some enjoyment watching a few of the clips. And I love both the actor and the writer. Otherwise. This show hurts it's so bad. This show moves at a snails pace. It is long, as parents most of us have been through it as well. The ending ~ why? I seriously wonder about the brain that writes these shows.
At Middleton (2013)
Well. Heart Melter.
I totally loved this movie. A great mid life love story. And Andy Garcia - what a heart throb. An incredible story of the human heart and needing love. College-age kiddos experiencing the ups and downs of adulthood. It truly will resonate with parents of college-bound kids, empty nest syndrome hits hard. I so enjoyed watching these two parents as opposite as night and day enjoying life while at Middelton. So stinkin cute taking all the risky chances. Just loved it.
Virgin River (2019)

Aaaaa. Jack. You won't be sorry one moment that you found this jewel. What just happened. This is not possible. Season 3 better be fixing him. Just love these sweet ins and outs of true-to-life stories. So glad I found you.
Kodachrome (2017)
BEYOND HEART BREAKING.
Do not pay attention to low ratings in this show. What amazing acting this was. I'm crying my eyes out as I'm typing this now. As a 66 year old wife, mother, granny, aunt, sister, niece; death can rock your world. Just as every family has a story to tell, Kodachrome told a beautiful story. Yes. I wanted to knock out 2 of the cast members but you will too. Sit back and enjoy life's ups and downs.
Message in a Bottle (1999)
BEAUTIFUL. SAD. LIFE.
What a beautiful story of love. But. This is a typical Nicholas Sparks write from his novels. Beautiful story but always kills the love story. I shake my head and will never understand this author. The end is beyond heartbreaking. Beautiful acting. Beautiful story - almost.
Berlin Station: Everything's Gonna Be Alt-Right (2017)

I was so bummed at the start of this season. Why did they cast her (AJ) in this show. No thank you. Just doesn't fit the bill. I loved Season 1. The start of this season not so much.
Babylon Berlin: Episode #1.1 (2017)
Crime. Thriller. Politics. So good. Wonderful.
I just love this series. I hope you will take time to watch it through Season 3. I'm so looking forward to Season 4. I just don't understand the urgency of killing Greta. Watching that ran chills through my body. A breath and then death.
The wiretap scene was AWESOME! Just awesome and on vinyl no less. "Personal gain doesn't interest me". He is so full of crap. Loved it as well when he was all puffed up, thinking he was going to be the next big honchos.
And then on the upside seeing Gereon and that kiss with Charlotte was magnificent. They are adorable Love love loved it. I hope They hook up in season4.
I enjoyed the history In the show too.
Sparrows Dance (2012)
O MY GOODNESS! Sweet Find.
I would give this show 15stars. Relates to the era, the boy, the girl, and a sweet romantic movie. What can I say these two, Marin Ireland and Paul Sparks, are perfect. Like peanut butter to the jelly sandwich? I hope you give this film a watch. So so good.
If you grew up in the 50-60 era - you will so enjoy and relate this. We all have our quirks and these two are just darling together. I just love, love, loved this film. A boy a girl and love, does it get any better than that. NOPE !
Dead Still (2020)
Didn't care for this
I wanted to like this series. Season one episode one I struggled. Season one episode two I gave up. Besides being so slow and dreary it seriously needed umpf. If you like slow, dreary comedy, and at times completely stupidity, you will enjoy this series. Not my cup of tea.

I don't understand why some of these senes were necessary. I had to turn off my tv. There is a limit to what should be allowed for viewers. I really like this series but this episode broke my heart. I couldn't watch it. So unCool!
Redwater (2017)
WHAT IN THE WORLD
WHAT ... what is putting it mildly. Immediately fell into this series, hook line and sinker. What a great show of twists and turns. Just figuring who was who, and took a major written time line of the complex family tree. If this series had completed with closure it would have been a 10. But need less to say what in the world was that in the last episode. A bumbly miss mash of nothing. So disappointed. I searched at the final episode thinking. NO WAY. How is this the end.

The English Game (2020)
TOUCHDOWN!
What a great show. Only thing I wish it was more in-depth and the Season continued. The rich, the poor, cotton industry, mills, greed, and a beautiful ending. It truly is amazing how living in different sides of the street can be. But in the end we are all the same. The game proved that. I loved learning about FA as well. I hope and wish we could see more shows like this and be done with horror and killing shows.
Hunters (2020)
PITIFUL
This series is just horrible. Unless you like watching tormentors , cussing in every sentence gave birth to the modern bully. To think this was written with today's knowledge I am beyond speechless.
