The whole procedure is fake and scripted. The actors were told when to laugh and what to laugh about and how to laugh. You can tell from the beginning who is going to win the show. The procedure of giving cards is obviously planned. First every actor gets a yellow card and then they begin eliminating participants one by one. How is that going to happen in a real situation? The jokes are dumb and when you see they are "holding themselves from laughing" you can tell how fake and stupid this is. It's not worth watching at all. It's a shame how a great idea like this can turn into this garbage. Bad implementation.
Although it's not necessarily a bad thing to get the same vibe as the previous productions of Seth MacFarlane, my personal feeling is that this was way too much. Some of the jokes especially those related to pornography and masturbation have already been told in Family Guy and it seems that the writers are just running out of ideas and keep repeating the same script (dumb and stoned characters talk about stupid things over and over again).
Ted feels like Brian with the pitched voice of Peter Griffin. Matty and Susan are identical to Peter and Lois and Blaire is getting bullied by Matty just like Peter abuses Meg. The original Ted movies seemed way more authentic and independant than this one.
