I have become rather fond of some Corean productions, but this here is not only NOT Emmy award quality, it's almost a complete betrayal of the sense of morality usually at stake.

Killing people for entertainment or to send a message to society is as old as mythology and the new ways as sold since the early 80s in novels (stephen King !!!) have known just about every twists and turns since.

There is nothing new here unless you're as clueless as a kid. In which case, you may enjoy the 1st season without playing with the speed parameter. I found it dull even if I use the trick, it's 2 episodes too long !

Then comes the 2nd season, and who doesn't like REVENGE ? Let's say it's not finished but not well-engaged either. The usual quote is "dig two graves" or many more in this case. Nihilistic and cliché doesn't cover it.

You're compelled to know how it ends if it's shoved under your nose by the algorithm. But Gladiator/ Russel Crowe is more politic and optimistic (as losers go). If you smell what I'm cooking..

There is something deeply disturbed in our Asian brothers. Perfection is the enemy of Good is one of our sayings they should practice. The series may be fascinating for them, under average for me.

The funny thing is that I don't remember the book like that at all. Sure it was eerie, but then again, the author is very poetic about bringing out old curses and such..or tragic love, human nature.. It all comes from a Master of the genre.

I was swept away by just about eveything, not in the first episode, I was intrigued then, and I hope you let the alchemy/ magic happen like I did. Let a mendicant cloak enrobe you in its fantastic story. It all comes back to history and memory and how unreliable and entangled they are and what we make of them.

I got the urge to read the novel again, right now ! Like some "Game of Thrones" fever. The difference is, I can't read the original, only a translation.

It's no Dickens and Christmas tale for children, but it is a tale for adults. A sad one, but beautiful. And most welcome in our troubled political times.

9/10 is pushing it because it needs some pushing. Wild Marvel's fans have thrashed this movie for the reasons I found it good. THis American blockbuster is packed with British touches, self-awareness first and foremost. So, most people can forget the 13y-o age limit, you're good to go with 8 or 7 y-o kids of average intelligence. Of course.

I am not fan of comics and was happily surprised by the first movie in this trilogy. More so by the third, which doesn't even try to please the fan base but fully owns its quirks and will satisfy a large audience, from kids to adults.

It is very moral and not as stupid as you're led to think, for starters. As action/ comedy/ buddymovie, you can do worse. It's a bit of a hot mess and proud of it, including some gore and aliens but also not entirely out-of their minds scientists and militaries or UFO-seekers hippies...All wrapped in a happy pace, with moments of truth.

Tom Hardy is one of the best actors of his generation and fully involved. Not that Brits get much chance at being comedic in Hollywood if they don't commit....they know their craft and can mix their humour. Theirs is far more to my taste, bit of both here.
