I won't cover what others have already said. This isn't a comedy or a road movie and it's not some commentary on the horrors of war.
For me this quaint indie (feeling) flick is really an observation about living with someone with mental illness. If looked upon from this angle it is well observed and touching and uses its three acts to unfold all the different dynamics in the cousins relationships using the backdrop of the road trip and the visit to the concentration camp. It deliberately subverts expectations by not providing a defined ending (often the case in this situation) and the scenes often don't lead to expected outcomes. That's what life can be like when your are dealing with that issue.
For me this made the film an interesting (if flawed) study that was definitely worth the watch. YMMV.

A great directorial debut that doesn't get everything right but does enough to be a really tense thriller. The cast are mostly unknown (at least to me) but were excellent and whilst it is slower paced, the film is only short so it never feels long.
Lots of comments on here on the fact that the dating game aspect is a focus of the film but (IMO) miss point that this is a study of misogyny in the seventies in almost every aspect that we see and the game show just brings it all together in one segment. Genuinely uncomfortable viewing in places of a shocking story that is well acted and beautifully shot.

This was on TV so I thought I would watch for a laugh. I knew it was bad so I was looking forward to a "so bad it's good" evening of chuckles and corny one liners. I was thinking Fast and Furious meets Armageddon. I should have thought 10 year old's space fantasy meets brain lobotomy.
My goodness this is bad film. I mean *really* bad. I've seen thunderbirds episodes with better plot development. I've watch nativity plays with more earnest acting. And I've seen local car garage adverts with better directing.
You would have to be really desperate to watch this but if you find yourself with a spare couple of hours when this comes on WATCH SOMETHING ELSE.
