The writing of the show is so good that it will make you binge watch the entirety of the season in one go. This is not an exaggeration. There have been a lot of terrible shows lately. I'm not sure why that is other than producers have become too businnessy, too concerned about the bottom line, that they really don't care to put in the effort for better quality. If a series is mediocre and it'll make them a few bucks, then they'll produce it. Then it's on to the next mediocre series. I'm glad to see that this show is not one of those mediocre series. It's not only smartly written, but it's perfectly acted. The characters are enthralling, funny, unique, and entertaining. The actors that play these characters are not only believable, but likable. The dialogue is sharp and quick. The pace is just right. I honestly can't think of one thing I dislike about the show. I do not say that about a lot of shows. If this show doesn't win a boatload of Emmy awards, then those words mean nothing.
This is a truly binge worthy show. The unique cast of characters and the plot twists keep you wanting more. Streaming series have been so slow and cringe lately so it's refreshing to see such a well-made series that has just the right amount of pace and comedy. While there are some awkward moments, you can overlook them quickly as the storyline progresses quickly. And yes, the fact that the ladies are stranded on an island is unrealistic, but it doesn't matter because the show isn't meant to be taken seriously. In fact, that's the fun part about the show. It's just fun and that's the point. Just let yourself be entertained.
