Extremely slow,and amateurish.
Kept on repeating the same lines over, and over.
Very monotonous.
Even the same songs over, and over, and over.
The singing was fine, but other than that it was terrible.
My wife and I couldn't help but falling asleep.
I'm so disgusted I am truly planning to stop wasting my time watching any movies.
There's so many things a person can do with their precious God given time than spending time on such bad productions.
That a a person must get over their stage fright is a very common occurrence.
This movie basically showed no remedy for stage fright.
Please, don't waste your precious time watching this movie.

Let's start out by saying "Small Group" was rated very high, 100 on another site, and 6.8 on IMDB.
We've enjoyed many Christian based movies and this was a struggle to watch. The movie didn't flow smoothly at all.
In fact it was difficult to sit thru the whole thing.
I felt like the director knew how he wanted to start and end the story but had not figured out how to bring it all together.
My wife and I have been in many small faith sharing groups. In no way did this resemble any group we've ever been in.
The creator of the story had to create such unrealistic situations so that there would be a story.
Even the boss's attitude was so far fetched that it was completely unbelievable.
It's such a shame because the theme was good but incorporating the theme was a disaster.

Yes, I realize that they were taking the New Testament and placing the actions in some utopian time.
I can't even figure out what was the purpose for making this movie.
It basically is showing how Luke was gathering all his information for his gospel.
Luke's role could have been more of the center and stronger character, for instance, acting more like an inquisitive reporter trying to pull a good story together.
It seemed rather choppy, with the scenes jumping around quite a bit. I know that to pull it together so that it would flow smoothly would require adding much content that is not within the Bible, I'm sure that most people viewing this video are regular readers of the Bible.
The director was trying very hard to include interesting moments, but for me it did not flow very smoothly. I was constantly thinking "where are they going with this?".
For me, the best part was that it finally ended.
Sorry about that, but I feel I wasted two hours.
Was it entertaining? No!
Was it informative? No!
Did it I make ny faith stronger? No!
Did I feel that it showed how the apostles would have felt and acted in today's world? I just couldn't grab that concept either.
