Who is this movie for? How many people speak thick Rastafarian? 2/3rds of this movie was almost unintelligible. And what a mess of a story? BARELY any time spent on Bob Marley writing music or his thoughts or ideologies but the director made sure his wife's feel's and emotions were VERY CLEAR.
This was such a waste of a movie. So many amazing bio pics lately and for some reason this movie was about everything but Bob Marley. They did mention his toe, briefly, but never mentioned it was his Rastafarian faith that didn't allow him to have his toe amputated.
I expected more, and was disappointed.

Talk about Original and innovative! This show does so so much to break down the walls of Racism and social standings in society back in 1943. I honestly cannot think of a more important and meaningful portrayal of women during the war. I think to much has been made of the MEN who went off to fight in the second world war, that story is boring and played out.
Honestly, Hollywood has been selfish in not telling more stories of these brave homemakers forced to stay home and play baseball instead of watching their best friends being murdered on the frontlines. We need more of these stories that show that RACISM is a today problem and didn't exist in the 40's.

I ask again, who are these spy movies target audience? Why insult males and put in RA RA woman power BS and then when it flops blame men for not wanting to watch any male propaganda. It isn't that 'Diary of a Spy' is an unwatchable mess. It's just a film that doesn't have a clear identity on any front - be it as a whole that combines a love story with an espionage story or even during the individual scenes dealing with either.
