In a small Bosnian village, a young boy is facing the hardness of a poor life, the death of his mother and the abrupt ending of his youth. This Drama shows a Muslim boy preparing for a traditional wedding to fulfill his mothers last wish. He follows the traditions in order to become a man. Ordinary happenings, funny and sad at the same time, full of nostalgia for something so close, but still, far far away. This is the first feature movie of the director Ademir Kenovic. It shows the traditional way of life in post WW2 Bosnia. Its hard not to like this movie, especially for people who are conscious about the hardness of reality.
