The Chosen (2017)
This show is terrible
Guys, I'll give you positives for production design: costumes and sets. But in terms of writing, terrible dialogue. You make it seem like it's game of thrones, like something exciting is happening every second but nothing is happening. You guys are just spreading the gospel and stealing money from religious people who were foolish enough to give you their money so you can fund the seasons. Acting is subpar but I'll blame the writing. A good actor can't make bad writing good.
Just because it's about Jesus, doesn't mean it can't objectively suck. Lucky for all the cast who are stealing paychecks from this production. God bless them.

A truly beautiful film. Beautifully shot and perfectly crafted by director Jon Cvack. Performed with the utmost truth and panache by the two leads. Laurence Fuller and Micah Parker both give performances that are worth the movie going experience. An enjoyable movie event that you do not want to miss.
