I love Christmas movies and the Rock.

I won't lie, I was truly looking forward to seeing this. Within the first 10 minutes I was disappointed. I don't know what they were going for, but the result was not good. Unbelievable acting plagued the entire movie to the point that I think the Rock should be ashamed of his own performance. Most of the script is what I would expect from a 80s b movie like "Legend". For example the possession scene is laughable. In other words, the writers should be ashamed as well. The only reason I continued to watch was bc I hoped that the rock himself would save it. Unfortunately he did not.

To start with, I enjoyed the movie. However, I did not think that it was anywhere near as good as the first. For one, I felt like it was more of a regular comedy vs the darkness of the first movie. The character of Delia seemed far from the original character. I felt that Delores was an unneeded character and did very little for the overall story. With all that being said, the sets were awesome and I absolutely loved the small head characters. Even though I am not so sure what happened to the majority of them and I felt for Poor Bob!!!! I am glad I was not expecting a cult classic like the original because I would have been disappointed. Overall a good movie.

First, make sure that you watch the originals before you watch this movie. There are a lot of references to the first three movies that make this movie funnier. Second, it is 30-40 years later and it is about older cops, who are slower and not as energetic. If you can deal with that, then it is a great movie. I gave it an 8 because some of the acting seemed "forced" and I feel like Taggert's character was off from what I was expecting. Other than that I really do think it was a good sequel after 3 decades. Was it as good as the first? No, but then how many movies are, especially at the 3rd Sequel. With that being said, it is for sure 10 times better than Beverly Hills CoP 3.
