Good movie! Way better than 4.4
I had to laugh! Someone on an earlier post said that (I'm paraphrasing) " it's Trump supporters that are giving this a bad review" I vehemently disgree! Everyone in our household are Trump supporters and we all give it a 6 or 7! So toss that theory out the stinin window! Lol>>> Just simply not true. Never-the-less we were truly surprised at the overall low ratings no matter who you support! Acting seemed right on time for the events. I can see where it can loose you in some of the rhetoric, especially midway, where are hero judge embellishes himself and lays it on a bit thick, but still it accomplishes the goal, maybe a bit rocky getting there. Still, all in all, a good watch. The great Terry say: 7.
Blue Ridge (2020)
5.1 is NOT ACCURATE!
This easily rates a 7.5, uf not higher! Exceptional acting all-around>> no weak characters! They all had substance, flaws, REAL PEOPLE feel, if that makes sense! The sheriff of course with his past, coming back to his town. The ex-girlfreind and mom to his 12 yr old daughter meshed perfectly with the main story>> You kno they try to fit in a partner, but there's no need? This one involveds her nicely! The daughter rven had a nice part. The Great story line; no plot holes I could find anyway. Wonderful, satisfying ending! Wish I coukd find more like this!
The music matched what was going on perfectly, also I might add.
Jaula (2022)
OVER -RATED!
You know, for all the good reviews, Im just not seeing how one can rate this out at a six>> Although I cant complain about the competence in the acting, 2/3's into it, the movie starts just not actually make too much sense! Theres one supporting guy, that quite simply, "all over the place which just doesnt vibe with the whole continuity thing. The child did ok with what they gave her to work with, but they could have jazzed up her role or sonething.... "more". Luke perhsps giving her some devious powers to combat the percieved enemy. Instead she was pretty nucg relegated to the whiny sobbering screaming mess she RELUCTANTLY had to play
Over-rated piece thats a 5 for acting and a total failure ending.
Samaritan (2022)
Sly is so at Ease!
As many of u know, Ol Sly can put out some good acts! Some appear to be a liitle "forced"(?).
But here, he's just so relaxed and his acting skills turn on like afterburners when he needs it! Above average perfomance, and the kid was very polished as well! Im good for 6 *'s here!
Special effects were adequate for the movie, considering as complicated as they could ultimately be. The last 20 minutes were very intense with a nice "flow" that kepy things moving along. So many of these fight scenes are so dark that its hard to follow. Not here though! And of course, you cant be disappointed in our hero at the end!

Disregard Mediocre Reviews!
1st, Mel G. Plays his role excellent as you expect! Forget his darn politics, he's a great actor. Plot develops nicely, fun ending. All actors/actresses did just fine. I rate high 6's low 7! Enjoy!

I guess overall I'd rate this a 3.7 or so. But, OMG! The abuse her parents put the poor autistic girl through was terrible, but u just vouldnt look away! In the different abuse scenes? YOU BELIEVED IT! YOU WERE RIGHT THERE WITH HER
EXPERIENCING THE PAIN AND TERROR!! Not since The Exorcist have I seen an actress hit her part dead on! Anybody that knows of an autistic xhild, can relate! Ms. HIill is going places in the acting biz!
Abstraction (2013)

Ok, both wifey and I watched, and the actors were "ya know" --- got the job done. Good camera work, and music was fine. And tempo does (slowly) get more intense! The last 15, 20 minutrs make up for anyearlier shortcomings! We went @

2 Hour Bang for the Buck show!
Not sure what to classify this flick for >> Maybe Comedy Action, but EVERY SINGLE player shines in their role! I want some of that "NZT"!
Robert Dinero of course was great, as always and the Lead Actor was super alsio.
Everyone has already commented positively on the plot, and they are right!
GREAT ENDING!! 8 stars for sure! :)

A bit Over rated?
Not too bad, but I'm not sure if this earned a 7 or so. Good character development for our Lead, as there were really no others that garnered much attention. Manly a 1 man show....
First Kill (2017)
Not as low as rating!
A little better than rating. It keeps ur interest. Bruce Willis has had better movies of course, but his acting job here is about.... Average.

This series may not live up to yhe 1st,,,, Very few do, however, all in all, its way better than a 3 or even 4. Maybe I'm a bit generous on a "7", but its just not "that" bad! James Marsden dows good with what they gave him to work with. Interesting ending.

This starts perfect and the tension is steady and building throughout this PotBoiler style movie. Plenty of opportunities to figure it out, but you just need a little more to be certain. Great acting in ALL roles >>

Worth the watch! Superb even 30 years later!
Even all these years later, this gem will keep you on the edge of your seat. Superb acting all-around! Our Lead Brooke Adams plays the embroiled mother to the hilt along with her mom-- you could feel the emotion.
The last 10 minutes do not disappoint!
All around? 8 starz EASY!

Very Good movie! You will notice the talents of Phylicia Rashad going to work full time in this fine slow burn, but effective movie. And, what a concept!
This movie is a solid 8 stars, Great ending I thought! Satisfying.

Trauma Center (2019)
Good Movie, But. . . .
Ok, Movie moved along reasonably well. Predictable plot, but there were a couple twists. Big take-away here I think, is that Bruce Willis' acting seemed particularly ... wooden, His acting always had that natural feel. It got a little better towards the end, but just saying the biggest actor name did not carry the movie.

Not sure, but acting was capable, storyline seemed interesting enough, but midway through, I felt the plot start to unwind. YES, there is a surprise twist @ the end, but perhaps not the exact twisr you might find fulfilling.
The Calling (2000)
Way Under-Rated!
I give a 7, and thats being conservative! You have to pay attention mid-movie to stay with plot. Solid acting as far as I could judge! Few plotholes, making the movie smooth in laying everything out. Great ending. I give this an over-all B+! Thanks!😀

Red Letters (2019)
A paranormal detective type UNDER-RATED
Excellent slo burner. Two detective freinds uncover a series of chilling events, while trying 2 find a missing deputy. One of them is kinda psycic, so it lays everything out ... nice development SLOWLY building and then...30 minutes in, and ur GLUED. 😀 Solid 7 here!
