It kept my attention. The acting was good from everyone. It had lots of suspense. I loved the car scene with the cop. It was not too gory.
It made me wonder how many ways could I try to get a message out under the circumstances he was in. The story between the couple was realistic enough. I was happy to see several actors that are familiar.
I want to keep mentioning things but I don't want to give anything away. It wasn't until I heard the music at the end that I realized this is a "Christmas movie" -- like Die Hard is a Christmas movie. I will definitely watch it again. The happy ending was good too!

I like the new chief. I like Kidd and Severide together again. I like the paramedic team dynamic. The only thing off putting is Carver bringing thuis 'dumpster fire' back into his life in Chicago. Whose dumb idea was this?
This is not a slam on the actress. She's fine. I just expect more from a grown man, who found a passion and an occupation. This girlfriend character is a train-wreck in the making.
Since I've said what I want to say ...I guess the only remaining question is 'where did the washer and dryer go?' I think I saw them in a shower stall. Certainly that is not where they ended up?
