In the sad age where The Weather Channel has had to air a bunch of crappy reality TV shows as opposed to actually covering weather, Tornado Alley is thankfully not one of those crappy shows. The title pretty says right away that it's weather related. And it is. If you liked The Weather Channel's previous series Storm Stories, you'll probably like this show as well because it's similar in the sense that you get to hear a victim's survival story. Real Time and I Survived are their best segments. The Real Time segment is the whole show and you get to hear stories from everyone that experienced a major tornado. I Survived usually has three stories that all have a theme and at the end, there's a scientific experiment that demonstrates certain things that can happen during a tornado.
My only complaint is that they've been a little tedious lately with the storms they've used for the show. A couple of tornadic events have been used 2 to 3 times this season, plus a couple times last season as well. It would be nice to hear from people that survived tornadoes other than the big headlining ones.
Otherwise, it's a great show and the only quality series on TWC
