If this movie was cut in the middle the first part would be higher rated then the second.

It was like towards 2/3 of the film the director and a writer got drunk.. I wasn't having super high expectations from this movie, but I cought myself enjoying it for half the way. The movie Havoc had a story unfolding with great potential, it had some odd but cool visual choices. I mean it was a modern day, yet the cops were in Ford crown Vics and the streets looked almost Gotham style, it was visually dark and cool, the soundtrack was nice too. The movie had potential.

But towards the end it just got super cheesy with naive and silly 90's style action scenes one on top of another.

Scenes like characters shooting at each other from 3 feet (sometimes with advantage of a surprise) and miss, the infinity rounds in a handgun even without an extended mag.. it was just painful too watch. I wonder how you shoot a movie you got a decent cast you have it going well and then half the movie what happened? The dealer delivered some serious coke to the crew? Disappointing.. I don't know Iam not even gonna break it down it got stupid passex half the film.

So if you watch it just stop at like 1h mark and it will be a better movie for you.

I'll get to the movie but first what's up with extreme hate for it?

There is so much hate here for this flick. It's clear it's not advertised as a Oscar level 9 star movie, it's not claiming to be something jaw dropping, and should be received adequately. But why all the hate for this movie? Let's see... First off I think portion of the extremely low ratings are same people that 20 years ago loved the resident evil movie, ( many mention it in their reviews even) but now it's not that this movie is souch worse, probably even better tbh, but these reviewers are just old and their imagination and interests don't work the same way.

Other portion might be people that dislike the fact that church in the storyline is evil ( not that that's never been a reality, church never burned witches alive, have they? Lol of course they have, but y'all don't wanna admit it.. without getting into this delicate topic, I do think many people might have honestly disliked that part of the movie.

Next what bugs is that I'm sure may poor reviews are same people that rate 10stars for super hero movies.. well at least this movie has an original story and ideas, not another cliche comics story.

Ok so for the movie itself : it's a bit cheesy, the story is a bit jumpy, but it does have original ideas, got entertainment and great visuals.. Is it Mila y'all hated so much? Anyway, the movie if watched with the expectations of a 2 h entertainment is great. . I rated it 7(although I think it's a 6) just to make up some of unjustified hate. It's amazing that people watch this trailer but then complain this isn't a Oscar performance film..lol wtf?

I want to start by saying this deserves a strong 6.** Rating in my opinion.

The people that rate this movie low are maybe the same people that rate star wars attack of the clones 10* and will rate every star wars movie 10 just because of the known brand.

People say it's not original : have you seen the costume designs? The ships, the robots/droids? Also the mix of futuristic and medieval style mix?

All done tasteful and original in my opinion.

If you are someone who like to sketch or just pays attention to the designs of this nature, the visuals in this movie are amazing.

Now to the next point : is it an absolute amazing movie, is it perfect, no far from it maybe. But we are reviewing scifi entertainment flick, why these people so harsh on it? What did they expect to see and Oscar worthy drama or what?

Seems irrational to rate this sub 6 while something as stupid and cringy as Spider-Man 3 is rated 6.5 ... Or fast and furious part 85 whatever y'all rate that garbage and they keep coming out with more.

All I'm saying is, it seems people didn't give this enough chance and seemed really heavy on their judgment for it.

...Ok on more concrete factors here is why I think it's good ( besides the costumes and designs) the villain character is awesome, played really well, dark and disturbing in some moments. Has depth and potential.

Ok, the farmer character is pretty stupid, but maybe it's good because guess what - everyone makes mistakes and not every character must be polished to absolute perfection. The cast all is awesome, we are lucky to see such a movie that's isn't afraid to bring it's own story. But now with this ratings I don't think we will see a second part, which it definitely deserves.

Just watch it. If you enjoy this sort of film and visuals of this nature it has plenty to offer.

Tons of potential for the second part, and gain absolutely enjoyed the designs and visuals.
