First of like to address the fact of what should have been expected from this based on the trailer. Next I am gonna share my opinion about the movie.
From the reviews it seems good amount of viewers seem disappointed. Here is why I think you can't really be disappointed: the trailer showed us the main plot. Which is a serial killer gets trapped in a large event, 20 thousand people concert.
Here is your biggest clue, well it's really just obvious- this movie, you can only expect so much from it. Because the idea of a trap of one man in a mix of 20 thousand people in a major event is silly AF, no FBI would ever do it. So if you seen the trailer and expected a genius plot with some crazy twists it's on you, the trailer showed you exactly what kind of movie this is.
Now to the movie itself - based on what I wrote above you might think I am saying it's total trash, it's not. I thought it was decent. Matter as fact I expected worse.
Here are the goods - the acting, the story as silly as the main idea is - it is original and the fact that the main character is trapped not just solo but he has a family member with him gave this movie a unique approach.
The concert itself - I mean the singer: she did great, I actually looked up who she was because the musical side of it was legit.
The acting - it was great, the main character was such a good father figure but the tension of the situation was shown well. The actress played his daughter did great too I think. And finally the singer character as well as the mother characters- also good acting. Sure not Oscar nominee maybe, but for a quick thriller I think all actors did well.
Sure maybe some more action would get viewers to give it another star.. idk But bottom line - you went to see a movie with a questionable plot that was given you in the trailer - can you really act surprised or rate it low ?

The main character is a nobody on the plain yet negotiating like he runs the show. Follows the hijackers
like he part of the team. The hijackers are bunch of incompetent losers, they don't seem scary or intense.
The main character is so sharp to manipulate the situation as much as he supposedly capable, yet can't see that these hijackers are bendable/ breakable?
The obvious stretched story makes it hard to watch with pathetic "twists" like we are landing and again the main character does some sharp manipulations to land it, then he runs back to hijackers and says don't land it when they are literally above the airport because of the the hijackers changed it's mind on getting medical treatment. The main character wins no battles he is literally just stretching the time for more episodes lol that's his role in the show.
It's pathetic and corny written with stupid sense of synthetic drama. The story is not believe and doesn't keep you on the edge, just feels cheap and silly.
My biggest problem with this show is that it just doesn't feel believable by any means, and is corny, but claims to be a serious thriller.
I don't know why it's 7.5* to I barely lasted dto the end of the 5th episode. What a boring BS of a story. 4.5 starts realistically.
