This was not good. At all. The casting was bad, the acting was subpar, the plot was meh. The plastics were not believable as plastics. No likeable characters, no clever dialogue. The girl who played Regina left a lot to be desired, her acting wasn't consistent at all, and times she tried to her to come off mean... it just looked forced. Cady was waaay too forgettable and didn't really sell the flirting or the mean side of the character. Janis was absolutely terrible, not likeable or funny. I like the actress that plays Gretchen, but I don't like her as Gretchen. And Karen was just... not there?
Time I'll never get back.

What the hell did I just watch? This is definitely one of the weirdest movies ever... and this is from someone who likes weird. The lack of explanation is always a mood killer for me. And that sex scene will haunt me forever.
There's something about it that makes it feel so cheap. Again, I wish there had been some sort of background story to at least understand whatever was behind the wall, and what was it that made the art draw people towards it, 'cause it certainly was nothing special.
Some of the acting was pretty cringe along with some of the sequences. Not a film I would either recommend or revisit again.

I really loved seeing parents support their children. It was beautiful to see how, even though they may have struggled at times, they did their best to make their kids feel comfortable with who they are.
It still baffles me how some people can be so ignorant and think being who you are is wrong. The relatives and so-called friends who turned their backs on these families should be ashamed of their actions. No one gets to decide for you, it sucks some people will never understand that.
These kids and their families deserve to be as happy as they can be.
