Underrated, sweet story of how a single father views his only daughter growing up while slowly losing his spot at the pedestal of her life. Well, not really.
French cinematographers remained faithful to their original and innovative approach to the movie production, not giving a damn, respectfully, about how it might be perceived by global audience as long as it makes a good storyline.
I loved it for its originality, fairytale innocence and of course, the cast who fit it just perfect.
In this age we truly lack sweet stories like this one and I wish we'd push more European production to the big screen.

Amazing opportunity to take a look in the eye of evil and test one's ability to judge someone based on the initial inmate interview, following the actual investigation and statements from victim's family members. Sometimes it's two different stories. How much someone's comfortable lying and manipulating, sometimes it's mind blowing and makes you take a hard look at people around you too.
The level of remorse and self-awareness ranging from non-existing in psychopaths/sociopaths to people who killed their abuser or took the blame for someone else. It's bewildering.
Evil is not in hell, it's amongst us and sometimes running free. Better to stay aware.

I didn't expect much from this movie, actually comedy/thriller genre made me feel motivated to spend some fun time in the cinema without thinking. Where should I start?
The whole idea seemed still hilarious during first 30 minutes as I was waiting for the comedy to kick in. Unfortunately, it never happened. We were left with badly written movie that just got longer, grosser and without any satisfying point in the end.
I seriously don't understand someone read this screenplay and was like "let's do it right now!" I really regret money I spent on this and I'm never getting it back. I don't recommend it and I'm not a movie critic, up for some fun but this wasn't fun in any way.
