I am addicted to Love is Blind, but this season of Love is Blind Germany felt so rushed. They did not seem to put the time into the holiday and definitely not into them sharing their everyday lives with one another before the planned weddings. I felt like I was missing out on so much. It was such a disappointment. I have never seen such a train wreck when it came to couples on the show. Again, it all felt so rushed. Like any reality television series you are going to get the people that go onto it to try and get clout and a career, that was more than obvious with Hani. What an abhorrent human being she was. I hope next season they put some more time and effort into this spin off.
The trailer for Wolf Man gives you a different perspective of what this film will be about. Yes, we know it is werewolves, but it had an undertone of domestic abuse to it. The film appeared cut up and stuck back together with $1 store tape. It was a mix mash of tones and conversations, and at the end, I couldn't even remember the characters' names, besides Ginger and the last name of Lovell. I love Leigh Whannell, his take on The Invisible Man was fantastic, but he needs to leave werewolves alone. The conversation on the steps outside of Charlotte's workplace seemed like a late addition to the film, to try and remedy the complete lack of connection between mother and child ( and actors) I loved Julia Garner in Apartment 7a, but she failed miserably in Wolf Man and was very forgettable. Malitida Firth was a wreck, it was more than apparent on numerous occasions that she was smirking and trying to stifle laughter fits, to the excess of having to bury her face into her fellow actors to mask it. They did a good job in the likeness of younger Blake to older Blake, but Ginger, didn't appear to be a child of any of the characters. When she hugged Julia Garner, she was nearly towering over her. I liked the idea of the virus, but to have it all take place on the first day seemed a wasted opportunity. There was no love in this film, no connection between characters, it was a void of dullness masked with a couple of good visual effects. What the hell did the studio do to this film? I'd love to see all the bits that were deleted. Such a shame, such a disappointment.
Where the hell do they get the funding for all these Christmas films? Netflix was inundated with this rubbish and none of them were any good, with Hot Frosty possibly being the worse. What kind of numb-minded, delusional person do you have to be to enjoy this kind of Christmas film? With the array of actual good Christmas movies in the catalog of films, you would actually choose to watch this rubbish, over a classic? I despise that these film makers and networks feed into the dumbing down of society with this kind of crap. Please give me a break, there are a lot of actual talented film makers out there that need funding.
