Thus story is mildly entertaining, it's very vain, self gratifying and just a bit childish really, I mean for someone complaining about privacy to give more of it away for money seems slightly hypocritical.
I don't like RV but in that world of fake friendships and superficial connections the only thing that linked them was the WAG nickname next to them, their interactions were insincere and generic, it wasn't two close people in a row, it was two people only famous for who they've dated having a toxic row because the less famous one exploited the more famous one.
Social media bought the school hierarchy into the real world where rich, attractive or famous people are seen as higher importance and sadly too many working class people are addicted to this utter garbage.
It's an ok background show. Nothing remotely quality and very little reason to exist outside of narcissistic attention seeking.

I find the problem with popular brands and IPs is that people will be lazy and exploit them instead of coming up with fresh ideas and this is an example of something that has no real reason of existing outside of money. It's not a good story, it had potential but the execution and character arcs made it just a very monotonous, flat movie that you just sit through, it's not horrific, it's watchable and whilst kids will watch anything and enjoy it this one definitely hasn't got the same appeal to adults, no charm, just bland.
The kids look too grown up for how they act, the girl has a tattoo, I mean it just lacks the whimsy that the family dynamic had with young kids, the extras were ok, nothing special, Olivia Coleman had the most obvious flip and that really destroyed the flow of the story.
The location had none of the charm, the British silliness and all the extras that the first two had! This franchise needs to stop now or go a different route in the uk with a new family or new setting but as it is, its run its course.

It's getting tiresome every marvel or Disney film that gets released or well any franchise from ghostbusters to transformers there's this section of people who will spew negativity and hate and have very little justification outside of they don't like the company or brand.
Let's be real any 1/10 review is instantly ludicrous because on no planet is it an all time bad film, also read the reviews, it says the same senseless rubbish on all of them which makes me think they've not even seen it and just red Reddit or seen YouTube bits. "Characters make no sense" what because they're new? They've got a master farmer (on an island where they grow food) a ship builder/designer (on an island where they use boats) the muscle and the coconut lol they make complete sense, if she'd have gone with stereotypical sailors you'd have 6 identical people indistinguishable from each other. I cannot understand why people create fake reasons to criticise and think it's justifiable, it's almost slander.
Next was the music wasn't as good, it's not easy to produce bangers, most musicians struggle with this, however 2/3 are really good, maybe not as catchy but that doesn't make them bad, if a song is iconic, being very good isn't a negative, just a tough act to follow, again weird criticism. It doesn't link to the first... well all the few reviews I saw this in, they link it all the way through the start, from the lad telling the story to the ocean scene with original music to grandma/coconut and tattoos, I don't get how it's not linked? It needed a new villain and a different story, it had a great one that was different, bit more grown up and engaging.
Even the sister gets criticised, one reviewer kept saying everything was a retcon (word of the day toilet paper) she was a good addition and replaced the grandma as her heart on the island without needing a boy or love interest, she was uber cute and funny.
The film is great. I've watched it 3 times, the extras are awesome, bacon and eggs especially are iconic and for me Moana is up there with the best IP that Disney have, I enjoyed wish , not as much some of the others, I thought inside out 2 although good was needlessly depressing for kids where as this is bright, vibrant and sends positive messages,
Is 10 too high? I mean personally I enjoyed it 3 times in a week, I can't find much outside tiny bits to be remotely critical of.
If you hate stuff, don't go and watch it, if you don't watch it then don't review, it's clear as day when nothing you say has depth or any valid points outside of generic opinions you've borrowed.
Every good review I do seems to have to address unfair hate, don't get me wrong, read some 4/5 out of tens and I'd not argue with how they felt, they explained and that's fine, but flooding 1/10s is just tedious.
This generation's determined to make the world the most boring it's ever been.
