What's good about Manos, Hands of Fate is that we all know that we all could make a better film than this without even trying. Just think, if this piece of, what, art? can come into existence maybe that spec script you have gathering dust in the closet has a chance after all. Just remember, there's a fine line between clever and stupid. One person's clever is another person's stupid and this film is like a universal boundary for all people. Manos, Hands of Fate will ultimately save the human race from self-destruction because Usama bin Laden and George Bush can find common ground by agreeing that Manos is the worst film ever made. The world will know peace because of this artistic endeavour.

Too bad USA Network canceled the classic boxing showcase, Tuesday Night Fights. It was a tremendous blow to boxing because it significantly reduced the amount of exposure the waning sport receives. One thing I'm curious about, why ax a show that appeals to the over thirty year old male viewer? I have seen other networks try to attract this demographic and fail while Tuesday Night Fights had a stable core audience of this kind of viewer. It is sad that such an enduring classic is now gone. The big joke is it was replaced by "The Net". I wonder how the executive who made that decision shrugged it off. A unique program sacrificed for something so forgettable.
