This is a whole new concept, nothing we have seen before! The atmosphere is just perfect, subtle Backrooms, bland corporate halls and meaningless jobs, trying to forcefully separate work and private life, just perfect actors (Adam Scott is just amazing in every role so this is not surprise, actually), labyrinth of mysteries, it's really engaging.
This is really original, well written, well acted, quite complex series, which is very worth of watching. I think I will need to watch season 1 one more time to catch up before season 2 starts because of the story and character complexity.
I would recommend this.

I started watching Six feet under when it arrived on Netflix which was in 2024! So I am like more than 20 years late, but this still holds. I am not a big fun of family dramas but this is quite engaging even for people who are not into that genre.
Characters are very complex, very believeable, there wais no stupid PC and trying not to offend anyone at the time so everything that happened felt very raw and very real. People are not perfect, these characters were no perfect by any means, they felt so real, that's what made series so engaing. Actors are all amazing, and their stories consistent and make sense. I don't think I've ever seen series like this one before.
One small thing that bugged me is that Frances Conroy, who plays mom, is merely 12 years older than her older son, and barely 18 years older than her younger son. Frances Conroy is amazing actress so this doesn't stick out as much, but it is kind of funny because she does look too young to play Peter Krause's mom, and she could barely play Michael C Hall's mom, maybe as teen mom. I get they were making her older in this role and it's not that obvious as an issue, and I wouldn't change her for any other actress in this role.
