So many of these shows seem to think we can hear whispers in the dialogue. Not easy when they have accents. I also think Greer seems to know about the bracelet. And what is with that blouse with the bow that keeps moving from side to side in different scenes? The acting is quality with alist casting. There's a lot of clues but no clear suspects in the first few episodes as to who killed the maid of honor. Was it Shooter or maybe Tad because his affair might come out? The trials and tribulations of the rich and famous really are well documented. This show adaptation of the author who is known for her Nantucket books is well done.
Why resurrect a crappy show with one original cast member who is obviously over the hill and has let himself go down hill. This pilot struggled to evoke any lighthearted emotion from myself or my wife. I don't see how they plan to continue with stupid sight gags and canned studio laugh tracks, Melissa Rauch is no Harry Anderson and I don't think Dan Fielding walking through a sugar glass door or leaning towards the judges bench is enough to carry this show. Replacing Mac with an Asian Indian and the heavy set black bailiff was a feeble attempt to cast similar characters but the DA character is no Markey Post, not even close.
Casting Tom Cruise as Reacher in the movies was terrible but this show actually has an actor that looks like the Reacher in Lee Child's series. I hope they produce more episodes of the wandering ex- Major. Interesting tidbit is the cameo appearance of the author as a diner patron exiting.
