Please do not read any reviews before watching this drama series!
At first, I was a little bit surprised to see the rating of 'Immortal Samsara' got in IMDb. Knowing that it had been on my watch-list for quite sometime, I was so ready to watch it anytime soon. Yet, seeing the low rating made me postpone watching it. It was disheartening to see 'Immortal Samsara' did not get proper recognition in China. As an international fan and a big fan of Cheng Yi and Yang Zi, it was quite sad to see they did not get what they deserved.
A few days ago, I could not wait any longer, so I started watching it when I had free time. I really wanted to know what made some people did not enjoy or appreciate this drama series. Frankly speaking, I enjoyed a few episodes in the beginning as it was very funny to see how the two main characters, Yin Yuan and Yan Dan, played by Cheng Yi and Yang Zi, always had things to bicker about. For those who had watched Cheng Yi in 'Love and Redemption' and Yang Zi in 'Ashes of Love' would probably think 'Immortal Samsara' as the combination of those two, and I must admit I felt it too. However, it did not stop me from enjoying it and see how things would end. So, if any of you have a plan to watch it, my suggestion is please do not read any reviews of it beforehand.
I was not sorry at all for spending my time watching this amazing series, with total of 59 episodes and 2 special episodes of 7-8 minutes each, I felt very excited as well as blessed for being able to witness Cheng Yi and Yang Zi's beautiful chemistry and fantastic acting. Superb! Great work!

Not everyone's cup of tea!
Just so you all know, at first I was a bit flabbergasted to see the high rating of "Hidden Love" got on IMDb, and that was basically one of the reasons I was intrigued to watch this drama series in the beginning. I strongly believe many of you out there had the same reason as I had earlier. Knowing Zhao Lusi was also in the series as the female lead gave me more enthusiasm to watch it right away. I have watched most of her drama series and I am happy to tell you all, I was very pleased with all of her work so far.
Without any expectation, I started watching the series up to tenth episode and surprisingly I did not get the hype at all and I wasn't really captivated by it. Just so you're aware, I almost dropped it though, but with high determination and motivation I've got left I finally reached the last episode. Thumbs up for me!
"Hidden Love" was not a masterpiece but it's surely not the worst either. There were some appreciable scenes or moments that I have to highlight and appreciate. Essentially, if you are someone who likes fluff romance kind of thing, "Hidden Love" is a perfect choice for you. But if you are someone who does not enjoy this type kind of romance, I suggest you to watch something else that is your cup of tea. Cheers!!
Shang Yang Fu (2021)
Awe-inspiring and mind-blowing series of 2021! Definitely a must-watch!!
To begin my review, just so you all know, after I finished watching "The Rebel Princess", I was definitely lost for words. I gotta say, I love everything about this fantastic series, from the epic glorious; breathtaking battle, the tender romance of the main characters, the never ending villains, and most of all, the character of General Yuzhang (Xiao Qi). Perhaps the only thing I can complain about is the tittle. For me, personally, the most suitable title for this series is "Princess and General" or "The Rebel General". If any of you have watched it, I believe you all agree with me here. I honestly think, this series is by far has the best cinematography (fantastic angle for capturing the battle of thousands of soldiers and the wonderful view of the empires/palaces).
With the total of 68 episodes, I must give myself a big round of applause for finishing "The Rebel Princess" in less than a week without skipping any scenes. Just like that, when I'm in love with a drama or series, I will give it all out. I'm addicted as well as determined to enjoy and finish it as quickly as possible. As I mentioned in the beginning, one of the reasons I enjoyed "The Rebel Princess" was General Yuzhang who played by the one and only incredible actor, Zhou Yi Wei. His character was undeniably the scene stealer of the series and he set the bar so high as a male lead in any other Chinese series I have watched so far. My first time watching him and I was completely struck by his stunning act. I guess, I will need time to move on from his character as he was undoubtedly so amazing as General Yuzhang and I must say I have the greatest respect for him. Bravo!!
I think we all know Zhang Zi Yi and I don't think I need to talk about her further. She is a very well-known actress in China and knowing "The Rebel Princess" was her first television series, I have to say, she's still without a doubt, one of the most beautiful leading ladies in the television series. Although, in the beginning I was a bit skeptical when she played the younger version of her character, Awu, but in the long run, I started to like her character as the older version.
On the whole, "The Rebel Princess" was awe-inspiring as well as mind-blowing series that I recommend you all to watch it right away. I can assure you all will love it from the very first start. Impressive!! Magnificent!! Thumbs up!!

Simple, sweet and pure kind of love!
Another Chinese series got me hooked on after watching the first episode. Yes, to be honest, I simply got butterflies in my stomach while watching 'When I Fly Towards You' and that's purely because of the two main leads. Let me tell you all, I was completely in love with them. Though they are both still young, they manage to convince me as an audience with their amazing act here. I honestly believe Zhang Miao Yi (Su Zai Zai) and Zhou Yi Ran (Zhang Lu Rang) will be the next queen and king of great chemistry in the future. Frankly speaking, I have never seen their previous work before, however, after watching this one I strongly recommend you all to watch it as quickly as possible.
Genuinely, I am not really into teen-romance love stories kind of thing. But, 'When I Fly Towards You' hits me differently. The simplicity and purity of the relationship between the two main leads/characters make the series outstanding as well as exceptional. Well, without further ado, I suggest you all to go watch it right away. Thumbs up!! Love it very much!!

Love the visuals of the main leads!!
Before I start my review, allow me to show my biggest admiration for all the great music themes of 'Back From The Brink' has. The opening song of this series is one of the reasons I like watching the series from the beginning till the end, and knowing that the male main lead, Hou Ming Hao/Neo Hou also sings one of the tracks from the ost gives me more excitement to watch it and let me tell you, his song really fits the moments between the two main characters (Tian Yao and Yan Hui). Every time his song is played during their moments I cannot help myself from not falling for his soothing voice.
Honestly, I have never seen the works of these two main leads (Hou Ming Hao and Zhou Ye) before and I must say that pairing them up together in this series is an undeniably great choice. They look cute as well as sweet together and both obviously have amazing visuals. They are still young and I believe with their hard work they will become megastars in the future.
I hope people will stop comparing 'Back From The Brink' to other series as we all know each series has their own plus and minus. For me, personally, there are some scenes or moments I think that's really unnecessary in 'Back From The Brink', but they don't stop me from watching this series, and for the record, I just finished watching it last night. I think the ending is a bit satisfying although I hope there's more explanation to some things that I find them odd to figure. In spite of that, I'm quite contented with the whole thing.

A drama series you all definitely cannot miss!!!
First thing first, I'd like to show my biggest appreciation to the writer/s who gave the role of Shang Gu and Bai Jue to Zhou Dongyu and Xu Kai. They both portrayed their characters successfully and I give them my enormous respect for that. In the first few episodes, I was a bit reluctant to continue watching the series since I could not find the chemistry between the two of them. However, I pushed myself to continue it and by the time I reached episodes 20 above I got myself hooked on it once again. And that's basically the success of Zhou Dongyu and Xu Kai as each of them played two characters (Shang Gu/ Hou Chi) and (Bai Jue/ Qing Mu).
This was my first time watching Zhou Dongyu and I must say I like her a lot as she could express her sadness with her eyes only. Her chemistry with Xu Kai was also on point and I hope they both could work together again in the future. Another thing that I like most in this series is the soft colour combinations in each costume. They did not need to use complicated accessories to match up the costume, the simplicity itself makes the costumes look attractive and elegant. I just love to see Xu Kai in all costumes he's wearing here. He looked very charming as well as handsome on all of them.
Overall, if you are a fan of Chinese Wuxia or Xianxia series, "Ancient Love Poetry" is something you definitely can't miss. I believe you all will enjoy it. Thumbs up!! Cheers!!
Chang Yue Jin Ming (2023)
What a perfect package of a spectacular series!!
Till the End of the Moon is probably the most spectacular series of 2023 in my opinion as it becomes the most-watched series of the year. The success of the series is no doubt because of the main leads, Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu. Pairing them again after their previous work, Love is Sweet (2020), was such a great idea. They really had strong chemistry there and knowing that they will be pairing again, I have been waiting for their series to come since 2021. Finally, the series was worth waiting for as it becomes the most favorite series of the year.
Many reasons why Till the End of the Moon becomes everyone's favorite apart from the two main characters. First, the exquisite costumes and jewelry, (seriously, Luo Yunxi looks incredibly dazzling as well as magnificent in every costume he wears during the series), gorgeous make-up and hair styles, spectacular special effects, stunning cinematography, first-class chemistry between the two main leads and last but not least the interesting story with good plots.
However, personally, I absolutely believe the scene stealer is Tantai Jin who played by the awesome Luo Yunxi. He portrays his character brilliantly and he's very believable in doing it. I have to admit, I love his visual and expression as Tantai Jin. I guess no one can play the character of Tantai Jin better except him. As if the character was made only for him. And for you all information, I could not take my eyes off the screen whenever I saw him on it.
Too bad the series just ended yesterday, if only it has more episodes, so I can enjoy watching the love story between Tantai Jin and Li Su Su a bit longer. Good bye Tantai Jin, your character willl have a special place in my heart for quite some time. You will be missed by all of us for sure.

Feeling regretful for not watching this drama earlier
I have been watching so many dramas my whole life from any kinds of genres. To tell you personally, romantic dramas are really my cup of tea. Having seen Ten Miles of Peach Blossom / Eternal Love with so many amazing reviews by many people, I tried myself watching it a few days ago, and it did not take me long to enjoy this drama. I fell in love with every aspect of it right away from the beginning.
For you all information, I had listed Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms / Eternal Love in my watch list way back then, but since I had other series to finish, I kept on postponing this series, and now I really feel sorry for not watching it way earlier.
With 58 episodes in total, this drama gave me bittersweet feelings. I was very moved as well as excited about the two main leads' love for each other, and I know I would not be able to forget their phenomenal love story for quite some time.
The two main characters, Ye Hua and Bai Qian, played by the stunning Mark Chao and Yang Mi, and for the record, I really must say I pay them an enormous compliment for their captivating and spectacular act. They both successfully made me cry a river for days. I believe in terms of great chemistry, they both nailed it. No doubt at all since they are veteran actors.
I finished watching this drama in just a matter of days and I did not even skip anything as I enjoyed it to the core. Magnificent!! Thumbs up!!
👍👍👍👍👍
Love to Hate You (2023)
Kim Ok Vin and Teo Yoo are the real badass!!
Love to Hate You is a new romantic comedy that I strongly recommend you all to watch it as soon as possible. It has 10 episodes only and for your all information, I finished watching it in just one day.
For the record, I have been watching so many romantic comedy series and I absolutely enjoyed this one from the first episode. What I love the most about the series is the badass female lead and the fast-paced dialogue and scenes.
I guess I don't need to talk about the chemistry between the main leads, why? It is simply because I haven't seen anything that as natural as their romantic scenes in any other Korean dramas. Mostly when the main leads in other dramas have a romantic scene, they tend to have it forced. But Love to Hate You is a different case. The main leads (Kim Ok Vin and Teo Yoo) had successfully made me ask for more. Their visuals and body language in the series are undeniably gorgeous.
In addition, this series is Teo Yoo's first romantic comedy and he portrayed his character satisfactorily. Pairing him with Kim Ok Vin is a very perfect choice. They definitely complete each other. Too bad this series has very short episodes, if only it had 16 episodes like normal episodes of Korean series, I believe it would have been a big hit. But, I'm still glad I found these two gems. 👍👍👍👍
Xing han can lan (2022)
Zhao Lusi and Wu Lei are hidden GEMS!!
I did not expect anything when I started watching "Love Like The Galaxy", but to my surprise the drama series got so many things to offer, and I still could not believe myself I finished watching it in just a few days.
What made me enjoy "Love Like The Galaxy" so much was the chemistry between Zhao Lusi and Wu Lei. Whenever I saw their moments on screen, I could not help myself from not admiring them. They looked absolutely attractive as well as lovely together.
This was my first time seeing Wu Lei in a drama series and I honestly think he's a terrific actor. He played his character flawlessly and I appreciate him for that. Pairing him with Zhao Lusi was such a perfect choice as they looked so good together on screen. We all know Zhao Lusi is the queen of chemistry as she always makes good chemistry with any actors she's been working with, and that was one of the reasons why I love her so much.
Last but not least, there were some certain episodes that I cried my eyes out, therefore I must give them big appreciation for their remarkable act. Well done, Zhao Lusi and Wu Lei for your hard work! Thumbs up!!
👍👍👍👍👍
Cang Lan jue (2022)
Simply irresistible!!
I was looking for something light and fun to watch and to find it I always check IMDb as my reference. While I was picking up, this one popped up and I was intrigued to read the synopsis and some reviews. Due to good reviews and interesting summary and without high expectation I tried to watch it. To my surprise, I really enjoyed it to the core. At first, I admired the costumes (Dylan Wang has such a good posture and he looks amazing as well as gorgeous in every costume), the cinematography (light and sweet colors) and as the story went on, I just could not take my eyes off the screen.
Love Between Fairy and Devil has an absolute interesting package. Every part of it is superb. The chemistry between the main leads is definitely first-class. Dylan Wang and Esther Yu are still young actors but they performed their characters competently. Trust me, they will become big stars in the future.
All in all, if any of you still cannot find something good to watch or you're looking for something romantic, Love Between Fairy and Devil is definitely a must. Check it out!! 👍👍👍👍👍
When They See Us (2019)
A very outstanding piece of work
When They See Us is a masterpiece and it will stay in my heart for quite some time. I have to say that I spent hours crying and contemplating while watching it.
I cannot imagine myself in these kids' shoes as it was devastating to watch every kid trying to survive from that crazy system of justice.
By the end of watching the last episode and seeing the end credits, I came to some big questions. How could four-episode of mini series be this good? How could each actor play their characters brilliantly? How come it only has four episodes?. Well done to all the crew and thank you for giving us such an exceptional work.
Vatanim Sensin (2016)
An incredible show about freedom
Watching this show without having any expectations gave me an unforgettable and joyful ride. I was completely overwhelmed with such an amazing story, incredible characters, and the element of surprises I went through in every single episode.
It has very meaningful messages, facts and history, and we do not get to see something like this these days as most of the shows lately are more easily forgotten. "Vatanim Sensin" is an exception, it's a treasure and simply classic.
I would recommend everyone of you out there to give it a try as soon as possible as you'll witness the most endearing love story between Hilal and Leon as well as Cevdet and Azize. 👍👍👍👍👍
Lang dianxia (2020)
Fantastic series to die for!
Firstly, I would like to appreciate everyone involved in this spectacular series. I must say I was completely overwhelmed by every aspect of this show. I finished watching "The Wolf" in less than a week without skipping or fast-forwarding episodes or scenes. So, you guys could imagine how I looked like after watching it. 😭 Two of the reasons why I loved "The Wolf" were simply because of the exciting story line and an unique love story between the two main leads. Darren Wang and Li Qin did a fantastic job with their characters and I was completely in love with both of them. Well, frankly speaking, watching Darren Wang as Bo Wang was the pleasure of my eyes as he was undeniably perfect for the role. The chemistry he had with Li Qin was also on point. They were so undoubtedly perfect for each other. I just could not take my eyes off them whenever they appeared on screen.
Finally, I would recommend "The Wolf" for all of you out there. I strongly believe you won't feel regretful after watching it. Trust me. It is indeed one of the best drama series you could possibly ask for. Thumbs up!!
👍👍👍👍👍
Baht Oyunu (2021)
Cemre Baysel is undeniably funny and adorable at the same time!
The reason why I watched this show at first was mainly because I wanted to see Cemre Baysel as the female lead and I was so glad 'Baht Oyunu' was her breakthrough as the first lead. I kind of remember her as the annoying girl "Biricik" in 'Sol Yanim' and I also thought at that time that she would be a big star in the near future. Well, if you notice, Cemre Baysel has a beautiful and attractive look to be the female lead in a show. It was a good thing that she took her first main role in 'Baht Oyunu'. She successfully played her character, Ada, in her very own way and undeniably funny as well as adorable here.
However, 'Baht Oyunu' wasn't that extraordinary show. It was quite entertaining at first few episodes but it had too much going on for a very simple storyline. The story was quite cliche, the additional characters were not too important for the whole show and too many unnecessary scenes.
Anyway, you all do not need to worry since 'Baht Oyunu' has a happy ending and beautiful closing. Good bye Ada and Bora, welcome Cemre and Aytac! Cheers!! 👍👍👍
Son Yaz (2021)
Such a fantastic show that deserves proper recognition
Another fantastic show has come to an end. The rating issue has become the final decision for "Son Yaz" to come to an end. The show did not achieve good ratings after few episodes from the second season aired. Same situation happened to "Kuzgun" back then, low ratings had made the show got cancelled after airing few episodes in the second season. And currently "Son Yaz" has taken its turn. It is such a shame people don't appreciate these two amazing shows.
The biggest reason why I love "Son Yaz" is mainly because it did not have too much complicated plot twists or big surprises, just the simplicity of the show itself has got me hooked on it. Interesting story, strong characters, heartwarming cinematography, and the unforgettable love story between Akgun and Yagmur are some reasons why I enjoyed the show so much.
I strongly believe many of us will miss this show a lot. Good bye SAVCI, good bye AKMUR and last but not least good bye.... SON YAZ.
Thank you for giving us such an incredible show with a lot of memorable scenes and characters. Cheers!! Thumbs up!!👍👍👍👍👍
Ikimizin Sirri (2021)
It is a heartbreaking yet beautiful show
"Ikimizin Sirri" was a remake of Korean drama "Marriage Contract". I watched it years ago and it has become one of my favourite dramas of all time. I was excited about this show knowing that I have watched the Korean version way earlier. The first few episodes were promising and I enjoyed it a lot. The female lead was incredibly fantastic in portraying her character. I must say I really like her. Another thing that I like about the show is the child who played Hayal. She was obviously the show stealer. She's very convincing and I appreciate her for that.
Generally, the show was entertaining and delightful to watch but due to low ratings the show was cancelled after ten episodes. So you all can imagine how in a rush the ending to this show was. I guess the show did not get enough recognition in Turkey. This rating problem is not something new in Turkish drama history. Whenever a drama or show does not get good ratings, a cancellation is a must.
In conclusion, the show worth your time and do not worry about the ending. It's quite beautifully concluded. 👍👍👍
Yüksek Sosyete (2016)
Watching the show only for the sake of the characters Ece and Mert
Having to watch the Korean version way back earlier, I was surprised to know that Turkish has the remake. Without hesitation I tried watching it and to my surprise I wasn't captivated as much as I enjoyed the Korean version. It's really beyond my expectation in the beginning. Frankly speaking, I skipped most of unnecessary parts or characters of it. Too much unimportant characters and plots that I have to skip them.
I finished watching this show only for the sake of "Ece and Mert". I love their characters and the story between them. That's all.
Kuzgun (2019)
Painful yet sweet revenge story
When you see Baris Arduc and Burcu Biricik as the main leads, you don't need to think twice whether or not watching them. Believe me, they are undoubtedly awesome here. The story itself is quite common, yes, it is about a revenge.
A character, just like the title, named Kuzgun, was in a condition of wanting to take a revenge on certain people from his past, including his own mother. He certainly did not care about anything except his revenge. I must say that Baris Arduc is an extremely great actor who has good expressions in showing his feelings. He could express his deep emotions only with his eyes. I guess, he is one of the best actors in doing that.
Burcu Biricik, once again, I don't have to explain more about her character. You'll love her. Trust me. She is one of the best actresses in Turkey that leaves me speechless with her ability of portraying any kind of characters she plays. Without further ado, I would like you all to watch it right away. Basically, you'll fall in love with this show right in the first episode.
However, again, the ending was a little bit in a rush. Why? Yeah, the ratings problem again. The show was cancelled due to low ratings after airing some episodes in second season. Such a shame people don't really appreciate this masterpiece. Luckily, though it seemed to be rushing, the closure was quite smooth and understandable. 👍👍👍👍👍
Menajerimi Ara (2020)
A very unique show with intriguing story and characters!
I just finished watching this good show, and sadly it ended too soon. I really enjoyed watching it due to the intriguing story and memorable characters in it. Not to mention with lots of guest stars appearing in every episode made the show even appealing. However, the plot was a bit out of context when new characters were added. The show lost some strong characters that made the show seemed to be losing its direction.
We all know that "Menajerimi Ara" is an adaptation of the French TV series called "Dix Pour Cent". The show centers on what happened in a reputable talent agency, how the managers deal with their stars and resolve any issues that may arise in the agency. Needless to say, it's very fascinating to see how everyone fits in their character.
Hoping to see more of them, but it won't happen since it ended just a few days ago. Therefore, we won't be able to see the sweetest couple 'DicBar' anymore.
If any of you have not watched this show, I recommend you all to go watch it very soon. It's really addictive. Trust me. 👍👍👍👍
Marasli (2021)
Well-presented show and impeccable character of a main hero!
Marasli has lots of suspense, thrills, actions and impressive characters I have watched so far. The character of "Marasli/Celal Kun" was played to absolute perfection by the awesome actor Burak Deniz. He flawlessly performed the character and I was completely absorbed by him. I believe no one would be able to play the role as stunning as he did here. I feel like "Marasli" was made only for him.
The character "Mahur", played by Alina Boz, also, I must admit that she really completed the show to the point of excellence. The chemistry she had with Burak Deniz was extremely breathtaking. The plot of the story is actually uncommon, and that's why it's interesting and got me hooked on the show after watching the first episode.
Well, for those who are looking for romantic and lovey-dovey couple with some actions and thrills, you'll love this one. But if you just look for the prince charming and sweet girl without anything serious, well, I gotta say, this is not for you.
Oh yeah, the ending was seriously the thing that I was hoping for. Congratulations to all the team of 'Marasli', you all did such a fantastic job. Superb! Thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍👍
Sol Yanim (2020)
A love story that ends without a good ending
I watched this series due to the interesting poster in the beginning and I must say I started enjoying the first few episodes. However, the feeling of liking it was still questionable. Why? To be honest, the story itself was not something new for those who like romantic dramas, but there was something in this show that got me hooked on. There were some characters I really appreciate with their good acting skills, such as Asena and Biricik, they definitely succeeded at making us hating their characters every time they appeared on screen.
The ending, again, like other low rating dramas, didn't have a good ending. There're many things left unanswered. This is something that I dislike about Turkish shows. Many shows have to get cancellation if they get low rating. I don't know, but somehow they are absolutely concerned with ratings. So you all can imagine how the ending to this show was.
Inadina Ask (2015)
Will give 8 if only it has a proper ending
I have to say I'm very upset plus annoyed with this show. Really, really disappointing knowing it didn't have a proper ending. The problem with low ratings made the writers cut the show without thinking about the reaction of the viewers. My biggest question is why they didn't just finish it with good closure of each character, so the viewers won't feel betrayed and disappointed. All my life, I have never been this annoyed with a drama. If only Can Yaman was famous back then, I believe they would still continue broadcasting it.
Anyway, I love Can Yaman's character 'Yalin Aras', such a sweet and gentle man, but I have to acknowledge Acelya Topaloglu for being undeniably hilarious here. She's really amusing though. I also have no complaint with the chemistry as they made such an amazing, sizzling couple on the screen. Lastly, the comedy was top notch, I couldn't help myself laughing with their entertaining humor.
Sahin Tepesi (2018)
It has lots of potential yet so disappointing in the end
I need to say that this show has lots of potential due to the interesting story, however how they end it without enough explanation with some characters makes me really disappointed. It seems to me they were really in a rush to end this show. I do like the main couple here, Efe and Verda, they absolutely make such good chemistry. I must say they are just adorable and I always wait patiently to see their moments.
For some reasons I find this show interesting and I recommend you all to watch it.
Içerde (2016)
Super awesome and fantastic series
Such a fantastic show I must say, every episode got me astounded by its unpredictable plots. The story itself was kind of a remake of 'The Departed', and that's one of the reasons I decided to give it a try. The other reason is because Cagatay Ulusoy and Aras Bulut Iynemli were in it.
They played their characters perfectly, and I have no doubt with that since I got carried away with their characters.
Each actor and actress did a great job, they performed remarkably with their characters. The surprises as well as the thrills are addictive. Furthermore, I believe this series is one of the most memorable shows for me personally. I would love you all to watch it as soon as possible, as you won't regret it at all. Such a complete show with everything you need in it. Highly recommended! Love every part of it. Thumbs up!! 👍👍👍👍👍
