Halt and Catch Fire (2014)
Wow! So glad this show exists.
This is some show! I don't know what is more important, the convincing changing of era's and in particular the challenges and emergence of the information age we live in today or the list of complex characters who like in real life frustrate and delight in equal measure.
Season 1 I thought was fantastic. The following 2 pretty good ( I thought could have been condensed into 1 season) But Season 4 hit and from the opening dialogue between Joe and Cameron, I think I saw that we were about to experience the culmination of some very rich and nuanced characters, along with genuine frictions and very obvious growth.
Toby Huss (Bos) is an absolute delight ,and keeps the show buzzing, but as I write I think I am shortchanging the entire cast, They all belong, and the dynamics are so much better with each and every Character.
The only other time I remember seeing such vivid portrayals in a show was in the fantastic "Rectify"
So if you like that one maybe put this one high on your long list of things to watch.
3 more episodes to watch .
Mr Inbetween (2018)
Fantastic!
Love this show, never seen anything quite like it. Everybody is fantastic and Brooke Satchwell is an absolute darling.
The show moves seamlessly from violence to comedy to drama and backs again.
Great work .
Same Kind of Different as Me (2017)
What a beautiful story
Loved pretty much everything about this film.
It definately has the ability to appeal to the best in us, I didn't realise it was true until the end credits.
The Outsider (2020)
The best thing since true detective s1 and the killing?

Two Girls and a Guy (1997)

If you are a fan of the man , watch this film .
he is absolutely off his head ( probably literally ) brilliant!
for the most part filmed in one room , it is a real comedic treat
to see the brother in action with his two leading ladies.
Westside (2015)
Great looking show
wow what can i say , I'm excited . After The Almighty Johnsons I've been looking for a Kiwi gem to balance out my weekly viewing , I think i might have just found it . So far so good . just watched episode 1 and cant wait for more. As a prequel to Outrageous Fortune we get to know Theodore aka Ted as a safe cracker in his younger years , with Anotoinette Prebble playing his wife. This show is quirky ,( Of course it's from new Zealand) with some pretty clever writing .and having grown up in New Zealand ,this show definitely captures the look and feel of the country i grew up in. Characters are engaging and have certainly left me with a desire to get to know them more as time goes on. Lovers of outrageous fortune will definitely enjoy this hope it keeps up .
