  • Best Batman Ever

This movie makes the Tim Burton version seem as outdated as the 1960's t.v show. Batman has never been one of my favorite superheros (until now!) and after the last couple horrible sequels I wasn't feeling too pressed to catch this one. Boy was I surprised. Great acting all around and a awesome script by David Goyer who also did the great Blade movies. The biggest surprise to me was how well the female character was written and how good Kattie Holmes was in the role. Bale is also perfect in the role of Bruce Wayne and the costume, car and gadgets he uses were all designed really well. I really hope they can keep this tone and look in the sequel. And I hope they again use villains who haven't been used to death. This Batman would kick Spiderman's sulking butt. I see they're making a new Superman - it might make for a cool sequel to team them up.

  • Small children will love it

This is the kind of show that you'll never see made again - something that is about Christianity and has a good moral for the children it's geared towards. Today it would be protested and replaced with Danny Phantom's Holiday Special or some crap like that. My seven year old boy loved it and counts it amongst his favorites. All the Rankin/Bass Christmas specials are enjoyable for young and old alike. This is probably one of the lesser known and harder to find ones. I love the claymation style they use - it would be great to see something new in this vein. Maybe one day they will release all the specials on one DVD - If you have small kids - catch it if you can.
