This movie was okay. The main problem is that Chestnut and Hall's characters were written poorly and never grow.
As an attorney, Chestnut should have known better. Hall as a woman with an attractive husband should have been aware of another woman circling her husband. The best character was Michael K Williams, who came in very late.
This characters were written flat. They didn't get any wiser during the movie except for Jaz Sinclair who's character when from zero to a hunnit real quick. I didn't realize how pretty she was. I know her character from Gen V.
The movie also suffers from lack of music. You can't have a black movie and no music.
