This movie was not bad, however, it should have focused more on the "insights" in the Celestine Prophecy itself, and less on violence, turmoil, strife etc. Know that this movie was trying to be "true" to the book from which it was adapted, so that much of the "dialogue" in the movie seems bookish. I enjoyed reading the insights at the end of the movie, and wish they were more apart of the movie itself; this would have made for a more enjoyable film overall. Watch this movie with an open heart, and realize that humanity is: Undergoing a profound Spiritual transformation, and that movies like this are important to watch to gain an understanding of the Shift that is taking place in our world. Know that this movie could have: Presented us with more Profound ideas to ponder, and informed use about what humanity should do to better prepare for the coming ages. Overall, this movie needs to be watched not for the violence and strife, but for the hope that it offers us all.
Know that this movie is a cinematic triumph, for it portrays a human being suffering for her Faith. Know that Faith is difficult to portray in motion pictures, however this film does many things right including:
Portraying as accurately as possible what it must have been like during Joan of Arc's trial.
Symbolizing the Passion in the sense of the Holy Spirit talking.
Portraying God as Love.
Please enjoy this rare cinematographic opportunity. You won't be very disappointed. I enjoyed most of the scenes very much, especially Joan testifying about God, however there is some disturbing content toward the end of the film which may not be watched. Close your eyes during the disturbing scenes and you will appreciate these scenes more.
I recommend watching this film during a time of meditation, devotion, and peace, as you will greatly appreciate its themes of Love, Conviction, and Eternal Life.

I truly appreciate what the film-makers are trying to tell in this Jesus Christ-inspired tale, however, it goes over the top with gratuitous violence, and lurid maiming. Know that this kind of movie could have been made without violence, swearing, profanity etc. I appreciate the visual details and enjoy the thought of someone "saving" humanity, however, this can be done in a non-violent manner. Know that Christ is all, and that Christ forgives, so that this movie and all movies that contain falsity are rendered safe to see. I would urge parents not to take their children to see this movie as it contains too much violence, profanity, and adult situations. Enjoy the thought of Christ in your heart, and know that you are Forgiven. Know that this type of film goes too far in the wrong direction toward losing its way, when it had an interesting "premise" about a "man" saving humanity from disease, hardship, and suffering. I urge "Hollywood" to stop including so much violence into these movies, and let the story lead the way.
