Considered changing the movie because of the initial yawn fest. However, we bought it to watch and decided to suffer through. After that moment, it got to be mostly worth it!
Cute ending, fun dynamics, the usual cheesy romance stuff. A few unique moments but... eh.
Things I don't understand - with such a big leading cast, I was surprised the supporting cast was so... unknown. At least to me. Maybe I just don't recognize the cast. Some of them weren't amazing either, just kind of there.
Second, this is as close to the original as watermelons are to grapes. There's really nothing similar, and I think it's a disservice.

I used to watch this as a kid. A few laughs here and there, I remember watching it numerous times. Rediscovered it recently, and have to say... didn't laugh once. It's not stupid, gross, sexual... it's just nothing. There could have been some really great parts - the cast has great potential. I just feel like my couch cushions have more fun than this. National Lampoon's works because it's silly and sticks to it - this just needed to find it's way!
