For one, if your a true zombie movie fan like I am, this movie wasn't half as bad as some of these reviews are saying. Don't get me wrong, it's not that good of a zombie movie, the acting is bad, the special effects, makeup, plot, writing, comedy, etc. are pretty much cheesy and lame. As a zombie fan that watches just about every zombie movie that I can find, I have to say that just about 90% of them are complete crap and an utter waste of time. The one thing I do have to say is that Rockabilly Zombie Weekend although a cheap B comedy, also made a valiant effort to at least be somewhat of a decent zombie flick. Yes there are ridiculous things that happen but I really have to applaud this movie for trying to be half-way good which makes it better than so many garbage zombie movies that I/we have seen out there. Seriously, worst ever? Not a chance and if you think it is that bad than you haven't seen that many zombie flicks like any movie with talking zombies or ones that climb on walls or ceilings ( Yeah, I'm talking to you Day of the Dead remake 1&2! The original was awesome btw.) Anyway, I'd give this 5 stars for effort alone. Nice try!

The title alone suggests that this movie is going to be ridiculous and trust me it does not disappoint. The acting? Bad. Special effects? Some of the worst I've ever seen. Plot? It's there but as bad as everything else. All these are ingredients for a horrible movie but a horrible movie that one with a sense of humor should certainly get a kick out of. I cracked up watching this movie especially the ridiculous ending.

I shouldn't have to tell you to go into watching this kind of movie knowing it's bad or to watch this with a sense of humor, you should know this by the title alone. Anyone expecting something like Jurassic Park is barking up the wrong tree here. Enjoy this movie, it's wonderfully awful! Hope you like this like I did!

............. I have to admit that I had fun watching it. I know the acting isn't the best, the story's dumb and the monsters kinda ridiculous but I found found some of it to be funny at times.The hillbilly/ backwoods family was so over the top ridiculous that for me it held this together a bit especially the oldest brother. Of course as dumb as the monster looked I still enjoyed the 80's feel to it and as far as I'm concerned, there's nothing wrong with 1980's horror because that's when horror was fun. Give this a chance if you like 1980's movies with a bit of black comedy thrown in the middle, you'll probably like this......I did.
