Never Enough: Sex, Money and Parking Garages in San Francisco (2008)
Bad, but not in a good way
I can't imagine that the expectations of any potential viewer of this film will be too high, but for those like me who had hopes that they had stumbled upon the next "The Room," I have sad news. While this movie was truly awful, it was not entertainingly so. Imagine a soap opera with the script stripped of its unintentional comical absurdities and crafted by an untrained crew barely able to extract coherent media from their recording instruments. "Never Enough" without significant deviance, is just that. While I've seen worse acting in a low-budget feature, nearly every other aspect of it scrapes rock bottom. Events and character attributes are clumsily dumped upon the viewer through a camera that's never white-balanced and inexpertly-attended microphones. Nearly the entire run time simply reinforces what is revealed about the characters in the first few scenes, and I'd venture to describe the ending as overtly moralistic if it were just a bit more coherent.
Heed my words and stay away from this one. If you don't, you'll wish you had.
