Am I missing the point of a show successfully running for 22 seasons with 22+ episodes per season with ease and all of a sudden we only get mini series? Am I old fashioned? It still baffles me the stark difference between the spin offs and this. Simple, down to earth cases here and global conspiracies and save the world against the clock on LA, family and petty local vendetta on NOLA, Hawai'i taking on the legacy of LA and Sydney...I do not even want to speak about Sydney.
I do not know where Jimmy got the balls from or why, but, boy, you need to calm down. Snapping and being an ass? That was Gibbs' thing. And like Nick, I am proud of him, right or wrong. Too bad he is wrong. If we had 22+ episodes we could dissect that, but we no longer do.

Sadly, making spin offs of great shows sometimes does not work even if it does. Network execs have proven time and again that they do not care for audiences.
Regardless. It was a great episode showing why the world feels the way it does about US military presence, protesting it the wrong way and why the world cares about the presidential elections so much. But since the show is made for and by US Americans, it showed us also how the US reacts when trying to be rejected.
I know the show did not emphasise on much of the personal stories of the cast except for Lucy and Kate, for obvious reasons, but even they did not get a few good last episodes.
