Wolf Creek 2 (2013)
Basically a more expensive version of the first, still great though
The first Wolf Creek was probably one of my favourite movies, it's really gritty and really well done. This one, is very well done but just feels like a more expensive take on the first. Don't get me wrong I was on the edge of my seat pretty much through out the movie and did enjoy it but it just doesn't have that atmospheric feel to it like the first one did.
The acting is great, and Mick Taylor is just as terrifying as he is in the first one, not a guy you would like to get on the wrong side of put it that way.
However, worth a watch, make sure you watch it without high expectations and you won't be disappointed. 6/10.
Wrong Turn VI (2014)
Not that great
The first two WT movies were great, but then on it all took a downward spiral, and this one is not the worst (5th is by far worse) but not the best. Acting is embarrassing, some of the English actors can't put on an accent if their life depended on it.
Also, there isn't many appearances from the hillbilly trio this time and when they are seen the makeup is absolutely shocking, looks like someone has just put a Halloween mask over their heads and left them to their own devices.
However enough slating the film, there was some parts which wasn't too bad, the kills were decent and who wouldn't want to see Roxanne Palette with her boobs out?
Overall I give this a 3/10, I think they need to even make a serious entry of the WT series or stop at this one completely before they get worse.
Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead (2009)
Wrong Turn 3: Left For Dead
By all means the first Wrong Turn, was entertaining and original. Wrong Turn 2 was slightly original... both with great acting... Yet Wrong Turn 3: Left For Dead is a boring, corny and basically spoils how good the rest of the movies were. The movie is basically set in the woods with badly acted prisoners, two prison officers and a young woman who are fighting for their lives from a deformed in-breded mutant who seems whatever you do will never die, and a younger in-breded mutant.. It is basically an extremely badly acted 'horror' film which if you enjoyed the great entertainment from the previous movies, do not by all means spear yourself to watch this.
