Pulling together so many diverse stories and styles, melding the horror of the impending doom of the world with elements of humour, humanity and hope has created a truly fascinating glimpse into the psyche of record number of screenwriters who participated in this film.
The opening with Olivia Williams as the President of the USA sets the scene and the realistic, true-to-life way in which the actors portrayed the characters delivered the stories with emotion.
My only criticism would be that there were a few too many minutes in the final cut.
Well worth a watch.

I watched this and found it mildly engaging. There were elements of the cinematography and lighting that were very good and created the atmosphere for the piece well. However, without giving the game away, the fact that it took a voice-over to explain the main plot twist was a big disappointment. Much more could have been done to point to this throughout the story.
The location was lovely, though the peripheral actors were stiff, and the three main characters had to do a lot to try and carry this story in such a short space of time.
I think more could have been made of the feelings of each of the three main characters, as well as somehow heightening the exterior forces that were hinted at in some of the dialogue.
I am sure you understand that this is just my opinion. I have seen Rebecca Grant in other productions with much stronger impact, so I have to conclude that the script failed to deliver on a number of points, despite its early promise.
Thanks for reading.
